Breathtaking views of the mountains. The lake is just the right size to walk around, then sit down for a beverage. You can rent a paddle boat or feed the HUGE fish. Shops are open "in season" too if that's suits your fancy.

It is so beautiful here. So quiet and peaceful. This is a well maintained lake with a lot of geese and ducks. It was so cute to watch a couple in the paddle boat and the geese and ducks just trailed right behind them. Lots...More

Man-made. Lake restaurants leave a lot to be desired. The paddle boats are fun. The ducks are great. Beautifully landscaped

The best place to ice skate is outdoors, on a lake high in the Colorado Rockies. The skating area on this lake is groomed with a zamboni machine, so it tends to be excellent. And there is plenty of elbow room. We get a big...More

This is a great attraction for all ages. It a pretty big lake... You can just ice skate around, or get a group and play ice hockey. Young and not so young can have a blast here.

Spring starts to melt the ice- no more ice skating, no more Xmas tree or hockey rink- but let's face it, it's spring! This is a beautiful area and is equally enjoyable to view in the spring/summer. 4th of July would be perfect.
