If you want to know where to go in a town just ask a local mom. On a hiking trail by Breck we met a mom that listed off kid friendly things to do in the area. She said Keystone Lake & Adventure Center. She...More

Keystone lake is away from the hectic River Run area at Keystone. This has its pros and cons. Pros: fewer crowds. Cons: poor selection of restaurants and shopping. Although the Big Horn steakhouse is at Keystone lake and is excellent.

Pretty little lake just inside of Keystone. It is not the biggest of lakes, but worth seeing if you are in the area. The setting and lake is not as nice as that in Dillion’s but still worth seeing.

We came to kayak but rented a paddle boat instead. It’s a small lake but very cute. It’s a safe place to learn to kayak or paddle board. The fish are visible from your boat and are HUGE!

It was easy to check in to get skates. You sign a waiver, turn in your shoes and get some skates. We did skate two nights, the first night my skates were sharpened quite well and were adequate on the second night. There are "walkers"...More
