The photographs are taken at Beikthano and not at Thayekhittaya. I visited both sites on 17 and 18 September 2016. Museums at both are quite interesting. The museum at Beikthano is very interesting and the staff very helpful. The cemetery site was particularly interesting. You...More

Indeed this city was built before Christ time, but This is thayekhittaya city not beikthano as the poster was wrongly named.

One of the Pyu Ancient City , Also famous as UNESCO World Heritage Site in Myanmar .Developed and flourished over a period of more than thousand years ago between 200BC to 900AD .
