Our little family of 5 had an AMAZING white water rafting trip with Downstream Adventures!! Our youngest daughter, 6 yo, was quite nervous and super excited at the same time. Mark, our guide, did a fantastic job making everything fun and safe. All of us had the best time and highly recommend Downstream Adventures for white water rafting. They are a smaller operation with excellent customer service and clean, new equipment, literally everything was PERFECT!!

My wife and I were booked on another rafting company but we got shifted to Downstream Adventures due to not enough reservations. We were given good detail instructions on what to expect could happen. Our guide was Josh. We totally enjoyed our rafting experience with him. He was very informative and very nice. We at one point got stuck on a rock but he was very good at getting us off the rock with no issues. The trip was relaxing and quiet. On the bus ride there, we saw Longhorn Sheep. While floating down the Upper Colorado River, we saw a Bald Eagle. On the way back, we saw 3 antelope. We totally enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend them.

These guys are truly awesome and gave us newbies an incredible experience! Johnny was our guide and was great at explaining what needed and in pointing out different attractions along the way. He had confidence in what he does and made us feel at ease. He also had a great sense of humor! We had a blast!!

My family did a 1/2-day rafting trip, we had such an amazing time! Our guide was knowledgeable with the area and the different things that have happened. The views of the rafting trip were amazing, I wish I had brought my camera with me. but not knowing how wet we would get we opted to leave it behind.

What an amazing experience. Mark our guide made us feel at ease and led our trip fantastically. Clear Creek was full of rapids which made our trip super fun for our teenagers. I highly recommend Downstream Adventures for your next fun adventure!

Dez Morales made this trip an absolute blast! My husband had never gone rafting before, but thanks to Dez and the scenery, he’s hooked! Most definitely book a trip with Dez. She’s super kind and fun, and even gave us a bit of a history lesson about the surrounding areas on our ride to the river! Dez is a natural on the water, and great company for all ages on the trip! She even pulled to the side and let me do a cliff jump, something I haven’t gotten to do in years. Thank you Dez, for helping us make some wonderful memories. Schedule a rafting trip with Dez! She was born for this line of work. Sooo good 😊

The whitewater rafting was well organized. The company goes over safety and shows you how to sit in raft and hold paddle. The guide is experienced and offered a great time. The water was extremely cold so wear material which dries quickly. You will receive wetsuit--rent the shoes. I purchased pictures and was pleased with the number of photos received. Great time for all. A+

Our guide was great and the trip was one of the most fun beginner trips we'd been on. It was no float trip, we worked a little bit, got turned around a couple of times and enjoyed some great scenery. Thanks for good time and we would definitely recommend them.

My husband and I with our 17 yo son went on an intermediate rafting adventure. My husband chose the best adventure company: Downstream Adventures Rafting. Their guides have years of experience and are indeed outdoor adventure seekers. Before the ride, we had a quick lesson about rafting in the rapids, what to do and what not to do, and how to do what (such as if you fall off of the raft). Everything important that you need to know was clearly explained in a plain manner that even someone like me, who haven’t gone rafting before, would clearly understand. They provided wetsuits, helmets, life jackets, water shoes, and wet jackets. They were clean and they didn’t smell. After the quick lecture, we all suited up and hopped into the bus. Note: there are no lockers for your dry clothes and shoes, they only have a wall where you hang your car keys; but that didn’t bother me because there was parking outside the shop. When e reached the starting point, we were grouped into 3 groups with 5 people/ group. My family rode with a father and his son who’s just a year younger than my son; and these 2 kids chose Chaz as out guide and they chose well. Chaz is an awesome guide. He has a lot of trivia’s about the creek and the rapids, he put me at ease with his confidence and I apparently just trusted him. Before we went into the water, Chaz when through the things we learned at the previous class and he taught us how to sit on the raft, the placement of our feet, how to paddle, and the commands. Chaz, and all the other guides at Downstream Adventures Rafting are professional and experienced and they know their stuff. They have passion, they’re thorough, they have good equipment, and that’s what impressed me, an anxious beginner who doesn’t know how to swim; and guess what? I made it! I’d do it again with them. If you want a great rafting experience, look up Downstream Adventures Rafting; and if you want to get weird, choose Chaz as your guide. 5 stars hands down! Oh, and they take amazing photos of your experience too! Love it!

Went on a family rafting trip and Downstream did not disappoint. Very informative safety session and raft etiquette/preparedness for rafters of all levels. Sam was our tour guide and he was super helpful! Would definitely come back.

Did you guys do the beginners trip? Does it go along the highway or is it more scenic than that?

We did the beginner. Does both highway and scenic but mostly highway. You don’t really notice the highway though.

We were thinking about the upper Creek rafting. The kids are 12,13 and 14.We have rated the last 3 years, mainly class 2-3. We wanted to step up some this year. I wanted to know how the water is running this year (thinking of going next week). We usually go in August.. My husband and I have rated approximately 10 years. Which trip would work better for us?
