The staff and trainers at Echo Mountain Park were simply amazing. They really made me feel comfortable being a first time skier. The equipment seemed to be very new and everything fit well and felt very comfortable. The trainer on the day was very professional and patient. I'll definitely recommend this location to anyone and hope to visit again soon.

There's only one slope and its pretty steep. No beginners run's or bunny slopes. If you've never skied this shouldn't be your first stop!!

My son and I tried out this newly reopened ski area on a Friday evening. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was an easy walk from the main lodge. Not many trails and most are Blue level but it's the perfect place to go for a few hours without having to deal with I70 or Hwy 285 ski traffic... More

Lovely little lake. WELL worth the trip, we weren't prepared for a longish hike, but we will be next time! Be sure to look up the Chicago Lakes trail if you go. We'll be going back for that!!

My wife and I stopped here "on our way" to Idaho Springs. The lake and trails are fantastic. It is an easy hike around Echo Lake with flat terrain and beautiful scenery. The echo Lake trail goes through the woods so you can't see a long way but the hike is very pleasing. We heard that the Chicago Lakes Trail... More

The lake is crystal clear with some fish and ducks, just sit here and you'll find it therapeutic, kids will have a swell time too Recommended length of time is high due to the drive which should be combined with the Mt Evans one

The park is about 15 miles south of Idaho Springs but very curvy road so figure about 30 minutes to get there. It's just before the turn off and pay station for Mount Evans. There's parking on the main road and more in the picnic area. The lake is nice but the main road goes right by it so it... More

This area is very picturesque with the mountains being reflected in the pristine-looking lake. A nice restful stop in an otherwise busy drive day.

Beautiful. Peaceful, even though there were other people walking around the area; some with their dog walking with them.

At the foot of Mt Evens this Park and Lake is a short drive from Denver. There is a real nice gift shop to pick up some Souvenirs and take some great pics.
