Very interesting and fun little place to stop for a roadisde break. The owner was there when we arrived. She was very pleasant and told us a lot about the history of the area, why she built the watch tower, etc. There is even a book where she collects people's UFO encounter stories. Very interesting! The garden area was unique... More

Amazing! In the middle of nowhere. Too funny for words. Desert scenery and nice paved road. There is an alligator farm next to it and a bed and breakfast named GiGi's. I promise no relation. Must see to believe

Weird place. Im not a big believer in the whole UFO thing so consider this a review from a skeptic. The minimal entrance fee combined with the odd aura of this place makes it worth the vist if u happen to be nearby. It is in a remote area and we had just finished a visit to great sand dunes... We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend with a group of Boy Scouts aged 12-17. Everyone had a blast! The campground is clean and flat with a gorgeous view of the mountains and the dunes. There kids enjoyed hanging out on the tower, eyeing the curiosities in the garden, and the open space to play kick ball. We had fun... More

If you're looking to get away and look up at the stars to see whats really out there then this is true place to visit! My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice now, once camping at the watchtower and second staying at GG's Bed and Breakfast. I would recommend GG's Bed and Breakfast to anyone as well! Great stay... We visited on a day they were not officially opened. We phoned ahead and Judy met us there. The 'garden' is interesting. Both my wife and I felt something while walking through the garden. It is a small place on a ranch right off of highway 17. Glad we went. Great place to take kids. We plan to back in... More

We didn't know about this place until we accidentally discovered we were driving the Cosmic Highway and saw the watchtower! We wanted to stop but we were all pretty tired and anxious to get to our hotel. Now I wished we had stopped because it looked pretty cool. We did read stories about it and kept an eye on the... You must keep an open mind - and it would help if you googled this place first to understand that it is "serious" and has had documentaries and books written about it. But they have added humor at the same time. We didn't know what to expect, and kept it light, and had a fun time. The "Healing Garden" was... More

I drove home from the Sand Dunes 3 years ago and kept seeing these cheesy hand painted signs along the highway along the lines of "For a cosmic experience, turn here" accompanied with little green stuffed martian toys. I asked my friend then if we could stop but she said no, she just wanted to get home, so on we... More
