One way to get to Daniels Park is via University and turn right on Griggs, then right again on Daniels Park Road. There is a covered area where there are benches for gatherings, or you can wander down the trails to tables where you can eat and see the majestic view of the mountains and the golf course far below.... This is a must every time we go see our family. We love the views summer and winter. We usually see Buffalos and Prairie Dogs too.

It you want a place to picnic and stare at the beautiful mountains, this is the place. The park looks out at the Rockies and has plenty of hiking and picnic areas. The buffalo heard is right nearby. Great mountain biking there as well.

Beautiful views overlooking a private golf course. You even get to see animals roaming around. It is very peaceful and quiet. It started raining on us while we were there but quickly subsided and then we had the place to ourselves. Definitely recommend on a nice day and bring a picnic!

An awesome experience and gorgeous view of mountains with receding sun over horizon. Have visited this place a couple of times in early morning or late evening and every time it's looks like a new canvas. A good place to hangout with friends or get together, my friends threw a surprise b'day party for me so it's kind of special... More

This is not a park to visit to throw a frisbee and go for long walks...but if you're looking for an incredible view and sunset, this is the best of the best!

This park is two miles from my house in Highlands Ranch. At one time there were 200 wild horses there, but they have been moved. I go there often. There is a buffalo herd, and you can get right up to the babies. I saw an elk there in the middle of the dirt road with a rack 6 ft.... More

Amazing sunset views from above. Also, a very special golf course down below the rocks that weaves through the lush landscape. Bring your camera, you'll be amazed!
