Enjoy walking away from the shops and restaurants into nature. Stroll the boardwalk and step off down the rocks to the beach. Some fish, some stroll, and some build inukshuks , but everyone enjoys being there.

The boardwalk is always gorgeous, on the beach, and peaceful. The many little shops have truly unique maritime and one-of-a-kind and hand made merchandise for sale. There are several nice places to have a meal for anyone's budget, and they often sponsor special days where...More

We always try to visit, high tide or low tide. The boardwalk is a great way to work off some of the great seafood consumed on holidays and the fresh ocean breeze is a relief from city heat

Great day tip, walk the board walk, smell the salt air, watch the sea gulls and other birds scurrying across the sandy beach. Take a walk on the wharf, visit the small craft shops, purchase souvenirs and local crafts. At the end of you day,...More

This is a wonderful place to go for a stroll, especially if you have mobility issues. The boardwalk allows you a flat surface to walk along the shore line. It starts and circles back to Fisherman's Cove in Eastern Passage. There are a few places...More

Always a nice scenic stroll with neat little colourful shops with unique nic nacks. Great restaurants and view of ocean along the boardwalk. Just need more functions and events to bring people down here

Would I swim here no, but we did wade in the water at low tide! We were staying in the area during holidays and bought a couple of fishing rods as hubby and the kids love fishing. We went down here nightly and they fished....More
