Great playground

Largest playground I've seen with the distinct areas for various ages. Clean restrooms and plenty of shaded seats. Really pretty amazing for a public park.

We go to this park almost every day. The kids play area is phenomenal, the baseball fields are always in use (and look great), and the dog park has 3 separate areas (one with a pond). There are some great walking trails and even an outdoor hand ball court. The park designers did a great job!

We went to Canyon View Park a couple times when the grandkids were in Grand Junction. They practiced soccer on the soccer fields and played on the playground. Lots of space and fun playground equipment.

Was pleasantly surprised at all the new equipment in the playground area. Fun for all ages. Cushy padded flooring covered the bottom of all equipment. Separate yet connected play areas for different age groups and abilities. There is even an area for adults to work out while children play nearby. My kids loved the zip line. Nice shade, pavilion, and... More

This is a great park to take the kiddos (and dogs!) to! The playground is unlike any other I've seen, they've really done a good job of making things fun and interesting for the kids, and there's equipment for the adults to enjoy and play on too! There is also a dog park you can let your canine friends enjoy... More

Canyon View Park has an awesome view of the the Colorado National Monument, the Bookcliffs, and the Grand Mesa. Multiple pavillions (can be reserved / rented) with real toilets. Plenty of parking, except when there are big tournaments. Several soccer / lacrosse / football fields for youth and recreational sports. Four baseball fields with bleachers. Tennis courts and horseshoe pits... More

Lovely park for a walk near the river, links with the riverside walks and parking is next to the botanic garden which we didn't visit but look nice. There is a disc golf course which adds a bit of interest without being a nuisance. The whole place has been reclaimed by volunteers from years of neglect, so well done to... More

This park is located in a gorgeous part of the country and it really shows off the majesty of the local mountains. What really appeals to me is how much fun I have had every time I've been there. Whether I was enjoying a stroll around the pond, playing in a pretty awesome kids play area (yes I'm a sucker... More
