Engh doesn't move a lot of dirt. He settles courses into the natural topography of the land. This one is not for the faint of heart since there are plenty of interesting carrys. On #14 you must clear a notch to see the dog leg right green. If you don't your 2nd shot is a blind one over tall boulders.... More

This golf course is a must play course if you are in the area of Grand Junction. We had stopped here overnight on our way into the Colorado mountains, so we decided to play the course. Almost every hole had a tremendous elevation change, with accompanying incredible views of the mesas. The only negative I found, was that the cart... More

This is a Jim Engh design classic. Every hole is a beauty. I was matched up today with a wonderful dad, mom and daughter. The daughter is on the college golf team here. What a thrill it would be to get to play Redlands Mesa as your home course.

Redlands Mesa golf course is located in the foothills just a few miles southwest of Grand Junction, Colorado. This Jim Engh designed public course is in a beautiful setting with great view in every direction. Green fees are very reasonable for a Golf Digest top 100 public course. Although we walked the course, there are a lot of elevation changes... More

Jim Engh designs are blends of what nature can offer and what Jim can create. This course is exactly that. A true treat in Grand Junction, Colorado Dramatic elevations changes and a few of the most unusual tee boxes I have ever played(17th) It's a must play.

I'm going to start out by saying I'm not a great golfer. I swing in the low 100s and I could enjoy this course. My dad and brother are bogie golfers and they both enjoyed it as well. The 18 hole rate with a Cart was as good or better than many of the average courses that I play at... More

I've played a lot of golf in a lot of different places, and Redlands Mesa is the tops. Practically every hole takes my breath away every time I play. There are a couple of holes that are a little like putt putt golf, in that you have to hit a very precise tee shot, then hit a 90 degree lob... More

I give 5 Star Reviews sparingly - so that they mean something. This Course is a dream for the serious golfer. Fabulous conditions. Incredible Hole variety. Great clubhouse & staff. Pick your Tee. Make it gentle -- or make it stretch your game to it's limits -- & that is if it is on one of those rare days when... More

Due to a tremendous rainstorm when I tried to play July, 2014 we were only able to play the front nine. When I saw Redlands had dropped their weekday price to $50- I worried that conditions would be bad this year. Fortunately that was not the case. Conditions were great as usual. The pricing change was done to encourage more... More

I was tasked with finding a golf course to take my boss while in town. I have always like Redlands so I decided to take him there. He was very impressed by the course it self and could not believe the views of the entire valley. We will definitely be back to enjoy this facility.
