Stopped by while traveling the region with kids. The complete tour took two hours. The tour included walks thru several buildings from the early days of apple production. Very informative and the kids gained appreciation for the hardships of life back in the day.

This is a fun little site, with trains and a great summation of the area. If you are passing through it is a good diversion for a bit. Just relaxing.

This is a fun place to visit in Grand Junction. It is located on a main road so it is easy to find. There is plenty of room to just wonder through freely. Something for all ages to see regarding the history of agriculture in the area. Lots of old cars and equipment to see. Stop by and enjoy

It was interesting to see the old buildings and have the opportunity to wonder through them. They have them set up with period furnishings and in the packing house there was a man who told us some of the history. In the back of the packing house is this man's tool shop where he uses the period tools to make... More

This is a small museum that tells the story of the rise and fall of Apple production here in grand junction. It's good to see the buildings preserved and volunteers on hand to help with the history. The museum plot also houses farming exhibits, old vehicles and some old railroad cars. For only $5 a person it is certainly value... More

The site could be very interesting to the visitors but the state of the displayed agricultural items is terrible. They rusting away together with the vintage trucks. There is possible a lack of money.

My family attended the Train Show on January 3. We were impressed by the amazing train models and the kindness of the enthusiasts that were running the show. The show was inexpensive (only $7) for my family to attend. The kids absolutely loved it! (ages 2, 6, 6 and 8). They also loved exploring the decommissioned Uintah Railway cars and... More

I recently went to a friend's wedding here and I just had the best time. Not only was the party amazing but there were goats to look at and train cars lying around to look at. I loved walking around the place.

Whether sending your kids here for a week of summer camp, attending a classic car show in summer or the model train exhibit in winter, there is always something fun to do here.
