Grand County is fortunate to have several fine golf course and Grand Elk rates in my top two. The course is well designed and maintained. Nice club house but not a huge retail operation which is fine. The views may distract from your game. Put this one on your golf bucket list. Check out the twilight rates for the best... More

This is a unique course like the Heathland style courses in Ireland and Scottland. You've got to land your ball safely so it's quite a challenge. Stunning mountain views. Beautiful course in great shape. I thoroughly enjoyed the golf.

I golf there a few times this past summer. Course was in amazing shape. Front 9 is so different than the back 9 where there is actually a good amount of water which is unusual for colorado. A few goffer holes on the backside of the greens but from what I understand it is hard to get ride of them... More

We have golfed here and found it one of the best in Grand County and in the area. The front 9 is challenging but not discouraging for beginners. The back 9 is definitely a challenge for all! The grill has really good food and one sandwich is enough for 2 people. We got a turkey club to go and ate... More

The golf course is very nice. Probably the nicest conditions in Grand County. It should be for $85+. We arrived an hour early for an 8 a.m. hour tee time. We figured the place advertises it's restaurant so of course they have breakfast. They did not have breakfast. They did not even have coffee. There is a frost delay and... More

Excellent links course. All but a couple of greens were in good shape. It was helpful going with a local and knowing that collared shirts and no jeans were the dress code (just like when we golfed in Scotland!).

There was a lady in the pro shop and she said I could not play since I did not have a collared shirt. I had one in the car and so I went out and put it on. Once I got back she said she "forgot" to tell me that they didn't allow jeans either. This course is in Granby....who... More

We had a very reasonably priced lunch. Ten dollar range--- Huge sandwiches. I had the Rueben and onion rings as my side item. No upcharge for the rings. They serve dinner only on Friday and Saturdays. Which we plan to go there. Overlooks the Grand Elk Golf course. There is outside seating but it was too windy the day we... More
