We enjoyed talking to the woman working at the visitors center the day we went. We were on our way to the airport but had some time to see something. She suggested walking to the Golden Museum nearby. We did that and that was a perfect suggestion.

I landed in Golden with one thing on my mind, and that was to run some trails, but had no idea where to go.
I then found the visitor center. The staff were really helpful and friendly to me.
Because of them I found a great trail called the 'Chimney Gulch Trail' which took me all the way up to the mountain lookout and Buffalo Bills grave.
I can not recommend this trail enough, and if you ever have the time to do it, I urge you to take it.
It's approximately 16km round trip from the center and I loved it so much I came back the next day and ran it twice more back to back.

So friendly and informative. Great place to stop and get direction and ideas for what to do in Golden. Be sure to ask for a Golden Ticket to get a discount somewhere in town!

Beautifully located next to Clear Creek, the gentleman inside gave us a map of the area and circled things we might like to see. In addition, he gave us maps and information of nearby attractions.
There is a large selection of brochures to browse thru. Right outside is a creek walk that must be taken. On Saturdays, a farmers market was only two blocks away, he pointed out.
I'm sure he could have answered any question we might have had about how to tailor our time to our satisfaction

I am at the Visitor Center every other week for a meeting and for various events. The volunteer staff members are always pleasant and they have lots of information to share. The conference room is perfect for small meetings.

Whenever we arrive in a new town, we search out the local visitors center to get information about things to see and do. The visitors in Golden, CO is another helpful resource with pleasant staff. It is also conveniently located right on the river walkway with views of the mesa and ball field.

Very helpful info staff with great ideas and lots of suggestions. Be sure to get the Golden discount coupons. Clean bathrooms too.

We were looking for more information on Golden as well as bathrooms. This is a very nice place and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Told us to walk the river trail right outside the door, which we did. It was very nice.

I heard the in the summer and when there is a farmers market, you cannot park at the visitors center and have to park in the Coors employees parking lot 3 blocks away, what is that address?
