I suggest picking up a pamphlet for the self-guided tour. It provides additional insight into why this is an arts and crafts home. I wish there was more original furnishings to help me visualize how the Boettcher's lived.

Less than 200 yards from the Buffalo Bill Museum entrance you will find the Boettcher Mansion. It is free and if you have a few extra minutes it is worth the short walk around the premises.

We went here for a wedding. There were lots of areas outside for great picture taking. There are several rooms in the Mansion itself. The only drawback was that it was difficult walking around outside with high heels. A lovely place, especially if you have nice weather to enjoy it!

This mansion is located at the top of Lookout Mountain. You can tour the house free of charge and learn all about the history of the Boettcher Family. The grounds are beautiful and can be rented out for functions such as weddings. The home is in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. It is a beautiful home and can be... More

If you're looking for a wedding venue, in my opinion, it's a bit dark and dungeon-esque at night. But it was fun to take family pictures here one year during the day. Beautiful location and it's fun to learn about the history.

This mansion is not especially large, but the Tudor style and rooms with lots of photos and historical information regarding Charles Boettcher that prospered in the hardware business make it a nice visit for about an hour. You can get to the mansion via Golden if you want a nice scenic trip on the twisty-turny Lookout Mountain road which leads... More

It was interesting to learn about the Boettcher Family and go through the building. Currently, it is an special events venue but you can still go through the house and learn about the family, the architecture and history of the home and area.

This was the third time I've been here and I love the Craftsman/Tudor architecture. Once the home of a very prominent Denver businessman, this mansion is high on Lookout Mountain and on a nature preserve. The drive up and back down is spectacularly twisty and offers great views at every turn. The staff is experienced and charming and seems to... More

This is a good stop as part of a trip to the nature center that is very nearby. I wouldn't make a special trip otherwise. It is a lovely place with good views and would be great for events and weddings.

The Boettcher Mansion is not really an old grand house, no real information or period objects. It's a good place to rent for an event, and the views are good
