I think at first there was a question whether or not Buffalo Bill was actually buried there. Several places wanted his body because he traveled so much many places felt they deserved to have him.

The road up the mountain has hair pin turns that had several of our group white knuckling on the ride up. The top of the mountain view was amazing definitely take a camera.

The drive alone to get here is worth it. Gorgeous views. The grave is very peaceful and well kept. Not gaudy or overdone in any way. Learned some cool facts along the way. Cafe had some crazy good fudge.

We took our boys (ages 6, 8, 10, 13) here. Lots of hands-on exhibits that they loved. I have never seen a more valuable collection of cowboy and Indian misc. The short walk to the gravesite was peaceful. Awesome gift shop, and the boys loved their root beer floats. Worth a visit if you love all-things-American.

I live in the area but often bring friends and guest to this museum for its quaint mountain charm and the history of early Denver as well as the fascinating look back at Buffalo Bill's life and legacy. It is a short ride from Denver and sits on Look Out Mountain with amazing views of the surrounding area including the... More

Food is good a little pricy but good. Onion rings are freaking good! I go at least 1 to 2 times a month. Staff you could not ask for more friendly people.

My partner and I came to Denver for a holiday. We came here with my cousin who took us here. She gave us some information about Buffalo Bill and took us to visit his grave. We stopped off at the gift shop and had a look around where there is plenty of little souvenirs to purchase. It's a nice educational... More

Called in as we were in no hurry to get anywhere and saw the signs. It was a great day and the views of Denver were fantastic, shame about the transmission masts. The museum is quite small but we found it quite interesting and were surprised to find Buffal Bill and his wild west show had visited our little Welsh... More
