It’s a bit scary driving up to Lookout Mtn, but the view at the top is amazing! We arrived too late to see the museum, so we can’t comment on that. Buffalo Bill’s grave is just a short walk up the hill from the museum....More
Went thru museum and saw the grave. Well done. Good to see history. He was initially known as a buffalo hunter but only did that under contract to feed railroad workers. Did not participate in mass slaughter of buffalo. In fact, he spoke out against....More
The Buffalo Bill Cody grave-site is a must stop for any western history buff.
The museum is small but has several wonderful Buffalo Bill artifacts. I don't remember the admission cost but it was fair.

The grave site and overlook of Golden is beautiful and a great place to see, however for the most part it is a tourist trap. It's more about the gift shop and museum. The shop is a crowded with non related items for the most...More

The museum is mostly outfits and old show posters.
The views form the observation desk are great on a clear day.

Buffalo Bill Museum I $5 for adults $1 for children. The walk from the light rail is about 5 miles and at least a 1,000 ft. climb. Get a cab or "LYFT". The light rail is located next to those large building about 2 miles (air miles) south of the overlook at the grave site. The light rail can take you all over Denver, even to the airport with a train change at Union Station with a 58 minute walk or visit the 16th Street pedestrian Mall with free busses that will take you the 15 or so blocks from one end to the other. Hope this helps.
