Very interesting

We found it interesting and it was a Blue Star Museum, so it is free for Military members. And the road that leads you there (Lookout Mountain Road) is an experience itself ...

Great for families. Really interesting! Beautiful views! Great gift shop! We traveled with elderly relatives, middle age ad small children and everyone enjoyed the visit. It is close to Golden and perfect for a side trip while staying in Denver

This is a really a cool place for kids and adults alike. It really gives you an idea of what life was like back then and what Buffalo Bill did. We also came up the back way out of Golden so got to enjoy the ride and views from Lookout Mtn.

We stopped here and I really enjoyed the museum. Not the biggest but one of the better ones with the exhibits they have. Watched the introductory film which was good also. They have a big gift shop that is really reasonably priced. Also walked up the hill to the grave sites. This place was listed as one of the top... More

To see how much h 1 man influenced western U.S. history is inspiring. The museum has a book listing all of the cities his wild west show visited. Personally, my Mother told of seeing his show in Colfax Wa. which I was able to confirm his show did, in fact, perform there.

A short walk to the grave sight. Neat to see. Gift shop typical and quite expensive. I wouldn't bother with anything but the grave viewing. While you are there check out the great views of Golden. Free except if you want to use their binoculars, then it will be a quarter.

It is a short walk from the parking lot to the gravesite. It is just a short climb, not very steep at all. There is a museum, gift shop and small café. The views are great and there are nice shaded areas for picnicking.

It it really Buffalo Bill's grave or is it in Cody, WY? Anyway, grave site is free, museum is minimal cost and has a lot of nice artifacts and even a recording of Buffalo Bill's voice. Good to spend an hour or so.

Went here while visiting my son. It was very interesting and had so much information on the old west in the area and incredible detail of the life and career of Wild Bill. From Colorado to World travels there was so many displays and items from his life and shows it really was immersive and interesting. The walk up to... More

Went on a Wednesday, not crowded. First took a two minute walk to the gravesite of Buffalo Bill and his wife. Museum: Give yourself at least one hour. Quite a man. Check out the log of his shows. How he had so many shows is mind boggling, especially the shows in Europe. Also have the ever present gift shop and... More
