Best hiking trail. The hike was not easy but definitely worth it. The scenary is absolutely beautiful and Hanging Lake is nothing to compare. If you are not a regular hiker, it may take you more than an hour to climb up. The trail is...More

We got there after 6 and made the most of it. Parking lot was quiet so we went up the trail. It was very tricky and exhausting and even found momma bear and 3 Cubs just off the path half way up. Once we got...More

Trail basically goes straight up the mountain on a rocky trail. Be sure to take water and something to help if you get short of breath due to the higher altitudes. When you reach the top the lake and waterfalls are beautiful!!

The hike is high on rigourous rocks, but shorter than most hikes. Go early in the am if it's hot out. Parking is tight. We rented bikes and on the way down on the bike trail we stopped for the hike. The lake and waterfalls...More

I am in my 50's and my husband in his 60's. We decided to brave the trail. I would recommend good hiking shoes because this is about 1.25 miles long but you are ascending about 1400 feet. There were some slippery spots. However, the views...More

A few tips: 1. We were there on a Tuesday at 6.55 AM and found less than 5 parking spots open. By the time we finished the trail and got back to our car (around noon) , there was a long line of cars waiting...More

I heard about this place and had to see it for myself. Gorgeous! Such beautiful views, the canyon, the creek, the forest, and of course the lake. A little bit of everything. Moderate climb. Wear hiking boots.

Get there early! We arrived at 7AM on a Wednesday, and had no problem getting a spot. When we left around 9:30 no spots were available, and cars were waiting to get in. My kids who are young adults had no problem at all. My...More
