Sunlight features 67 named trails covering over 470 acres. In addition to miles of cruising intermediate terrain, Sunlight's East Ridge has one of the steeper runs in the state. Aptly named, The Heathen falls beneath your feet at a breathtaking 52 degrees. Sunlight is home to one of the longest trails in ski country, Ute, a beginner slope that winds more than 2 miles from summit to base. Sunlight also hosts some of the best tree skiing in Colorado with many aspen groves untracked days after snowfall. All trails converge at the base lodge, so friends and family can always keep track of each other

We stayed at Sunlight Lodge B&B in mid-July & had a wonderful experience! It's a work in progress, and still a bit rough around a few edges - but the warmth & friendliness of Inkeeper Jason, chef Tim, & bartender Rachel more than compensate! Friendly, QUIET, beautiful, GREAT breakfasts (with gluten friendly choices!), hummingbirds outside our bedroom window... And close... More

This place has a lot of character that's for sure. The rec room is very nice and a great place for the kids to hand out. Each of the condo's are decorated by the owner so you never know what you are going to get. Some are beautifully appointed while the others are actually dumpy. A7 was very nice. The... More

The ski area is absolutely beautiful. It doesn't have the edge of the big areas, or the crowds, it's quite and peaceful. With runs to fit every level of skill.

Snowmobiling at Sunlight was incredible. There were 4 of us (2 teenagers, one who could drive) on two snowmobiles. The group all together was 5 or 6 machines. We took the adventure tour and even though this was our first time on snowmobiles, it was a blast...although, I think I liked it better when my 16 yr old and his... More

Our first time skiing was interesting:) Liked the idea of a lesson, lift ticket, and rental all in one. Our instructor was a little impatient with me but in the end it was a blast. Snowmobiling was awesome. Ty has to be one of the best and nicest guides ever. We booked a group tour but we were the only... More

I was looking for a late season snowmobile tour in the Aspen area and another tour operator in the area who was closed for the season suggested Sunlight. Sunlight was great from the first phone call through the the time I got back to my hotel. They arranged transportation from my hotel to their resort and back. I took the... More

We just got back from our tour and we had the best time! With 3 kids under 15 our 8 year old got to ride with Ty. They were the Ty and Ky train :) Ty was not only great with him but with all of our kids. He made us feel comfortable and allowed us to enjoy the ride... More

We didn't stay at the mountain but signed up for the family snowmobile tour with our six and eight year old and had a blast. Ty was a wonderful tour guide - knowledgeable, energetic, great with the kids. The trail was beautiful even towards the end of the season. Beautiful and an unforgettable experience! Thank you Ty and the Sunlight... More

Our family visited Sunlight while on Spring Break this year. We were visiting Glenwood Springs and had 1 day for skiing. Some of our family rented equipment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And the equipment was up to date and in great condition. Our youngest daughter had not skied in several years so we enrolled her in a... More

I loved this mountain. The trails were very fun and varied in difficulty. The only thing was the lifts are a little slow compared to other mountains I have been to, but this is a small inconvenience compared to the number of people here. This is because at other mountains it has always felt crowded on the trails and lifts... More
