Description:

Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs...

Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

For this trip, we stayed at the Hotel Colorado, which is right across the street, literally! Strange as it sounds, this trip was a gift from our company, that was given to my boyfriend for 20 years of service! We were staying for several days in the hotel, and aside from all of our adventures, our several trips to the... More

I was skeptical about swimming outside in March but the pool was like warm bathwater. 2 temps for 2 pools- 90 and 104 degrees. Bathhouse was very clean as was the pool and surroundings. Friendly staff. Good family type atmosphere.

A dip in the hot springs will make you feel refreshed and relaxed. The view is gorgeous! Bring your own towels to save $$

Had to wait in line for hours to get in and if you leave the pool area to get something from your car or to eat in the restaurant, you have to wait in line behind all the people getting tickets before you can get back into the pool area again. Food has mold on it, even the ice cream... More

You can't go to Glenwood without spending some time soaking in the Hot Springs Pool. Natural spring water at 104 degrees or a swimming pool at 90+. Great for the kids or older folk.

We stopped by the hot springs years ago but only for a short time and didn't really get to enjoy there true powers. Seeing old photos learning the history we found a new respect for these hot springs. First if your going in March or any major holiday chances are there going raise rates for these dates. Second it's location... More

Currently, this is the only game in town, but another hot springs is in the works across town. For the time being, 20 bucks (comes with a hotel stay, but the hotel is very expensive) to sit with so many people and screaming children is far from relaxing. It's useful after a long day of skiing to rest your muscles,... More

I have been coming to the Glenwood Springs pool for over 50 years. This is the most tranquil, relaxing, fun, refreshing, playful, place to spend time on the western slope. It's great for families but - large enough to escape for couples. Make sure you lay your territory right out of the well equipped bathhouse. Grab lounge chairs asap as... More

We usually come in the summer and it can be crowded. Over spring break this year was great, certainly cooler, but less crowded. Makes it easy to get around the pool with 10, 9, 3 year old.

We arrived at the hot springs when they first opened in the morning so it wasn't as busy. The place fills up as the day goes on, but it's a nice place to soak for a couple hours. If we had more time, we would've had lunch and made an entire day of it!
