Overview
More
Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

It's a Hot Spring, yes. Good to see if you've never been to one. Tons of kids in the cooler pools which leads you to wonder the ratio of "minerals" to "pee". Can't deal with seeing so many swim diapers. Yuck. Had to experience since...More

Ideal place to go to get a break from skiing & to soothe those sore muscles. The minerals in the water and the temperature will all help you to simply relax. The view from the pool is wonderful.

Have memories of a pleasant half hour splashing about in the pools, but struggling now to think of reasons to rate the facility itself higher than 'Average'. Quite expensive, (particularly for a short visit), not particularly special changing facilities, not particularly attractive setting, even the...More

The hot springs are a really great experience. They tend to get pretty crowded but it feels so good just to soak in the water for a while. When I used to live closer by, we would sometimes ski Sunlight during the day and head...More

a little pricey so plan on spending at least half the day. But worth the unique experience. relaxing and fun. Plenty of room for large crowds so don't let the full parking lot send you away.

Went on a girls trip to Glenwood to visit the Hot Springs. Greatly enjoyed soaking in the springs. It was a little crowded...but it thinned out later in the day. Enjoy!

We would've liked it better if the slides and diving boards had been open. with out that amusement for my teenagers it was a bit on the dull side. Like the different temperature pools.

Not sure I've ever been to a pool this big that was crowded (outside of a water park), but was a great activity after a long hike. Had a small town feel to the pool with a huge deep end with diving board. Kids didn't...More

Look at Air B&B's, we found one for 150/night and it came with a kitchen and 2 bedrooms.

Hi there! I am not aware of which hotels are pet friendly and will let you leave the dog unattended. There is an option for daycare and it's pretty close by, maybe like 2 miles away. High Tails Dog and Cat Outfitters. There... More
