We've always enjoyed stopping at this park, usually for a break from driving in the mountains, to enjoy a picnic lunch, and to let our three boys run and release some energy. In those years there was the gazebo and a few picnic tables. Our...More

Our kids absolutely loved the playground. We didn't have near enough time for them to fully enjoy it, but we got some great pictures of them having fun. If you have kids, make sure you plan enough time to let them play here. It is...More

A very nice playground for kids in a historic small town setting. Has a gazebo that you could use for a picnic lunch. Beautiful scenery.

We bumped into this park after stopping at the visitor center. What a nice park - I love the fact that there are play areas for tots and for older children and they are clearly marked. There is a regular slide and an enclosed one....More

This is one of the best playgrounds I have ever seen. Lots of room to run and play plus large structures to run around on. Lots of good areas to picnic as well. No swings though but it honestly doesn't take away from the fun.

nice quiet park nested in the heart of Georgetown. Spectacular views of the mountains with historic fence but yet upgraded playground for the kids to enjoy. Well maintained. Has a lighted water fountain at night and a gazeebo.
