A Canyon up near Georgetown and through Golden. Classic Colorado scenery with a creek running next to the road. great views, vistas and photo ops. Probably not worth seeking out but worth checking out if in the area.

We love the clear creek canyon area along Route 6 just west of Golden. We like to walk along the new paved path on the opposite side of the river during all seasons.

Beautiful drive into the mountains with a river flowing next to the road and a few stops for hiking or just for some photo opportunities. I went there to kill time before a flight. It is only 20-30 min out of Denver.
