This is somewhat hard to get too, but well worth the drive. The folks living here are knowledgeable, caring folks who are dedicated to preserving wolves and wolf mixes. The history behind this facility is amazing. The wolves are treated with love and respect. If you can try and make the meet the wolf demonstration, you will not be disappointed.

This place is worth the trip! Our tour guide was very informative and patient. I had altitude sickness and they made every effort to make me comfortable so that I could still enjoy the tour. Each wolf has a story to be told. They are majestic creatures and everyone should take the time to experience their presence!!

We were given a personal tour by John a passionate person who has dedicated his life by volunteering at Mission Wolf. John educated us about how they rescue and preserve the wolves in their natural environment and facts about wolves in our country. We were fortunate enough to meet Kent the founder and allowed to interact with the wolves on... More

Allow a little extra time to drive on the gravel/dirt roads. Check their website for times. We went in the enclosure with three wolves at 2 pm and had a guided tour beforehand, but could have taken the tour after. Definitely worth it. Feeding time was impressive and gave meaning to "wolfing down your food". The food is cut up... More

I can't say enough about the Mission Wolf experience. Please get there and get there as soon and as often as you can. This is an amazing team of people managing an amazing pack of wolves. They know their stuff, and Kent and Tracy & their team have created as wild an environment as they possibly can while keeping the... More

We didn't know what to expect but boy, was this worth the drive into off the grid territory. Amazing from start to finish. Dedicated volunteers make this wolf rescue and educational outreach program possible under the leadership of the founder who gave a very insightful talk about wolf and human behavior. Face to face encounters with the "ambassador wolves' will... More

I learned so much from my journey to Mission: Wolf. I enjoyed hearing about each of the wolf's stories and how the sanctuary came about. Our guide, Austin, was a volunteer who is committed to living on the complex for a year. His knowledge and genuine care for the animals was obvious. We enjoyed petting the ambassador wolves and then... More

What an amazing and inspiring place to visit. Truly one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely go back. We arrived during the "meet a wolf time". We could observe but we're too late to get in the enclosure. We did get to observe the wolves being fed. The founder , Kent gave a great presentation for... More

This was by far the best place to visit during our week long stay in the area. Our volunteer guide was from Australia. She was very knowledgeable about the program's history and the wolves. She told us about the individual personalities of each wolf, their likes and dislikes. She did a nice job answering questions.
