About
The Frisco Adventure Park is minutes from Frisco's charming Main Street, and in the winter, hosts a lift assisted tubing hill and a beginner ski/ride hill, 27k of cross-country ski trails, 8k of snowshoe trails, and horse drawn sleigh rides and dinners. Both the tubing hill and ski/ride hill require reservations, and ski and board lessons are available. A friendly surface lift gets you up the hill right next to a cozy lodge and free parking. Snowshoe and cross-country ski rentals are available at the Nordic Center. Downhill ski and snowboard rentals are not available at the Adventure Park, but there are many rental shops just minutes away in downtown Frisco. During the summer, the Frisco Adventure Park boasts great free amenities including miles of mountain biking/hiking/running trails, a bike park, a skate park, and a 27-hole disc golf course. Chuck wagon rides are also offered, and camping may be booked through the National Forest Service.

- esumsea157 contributionsReally wish they would actually anser the phone or return calls for ski lessons. My son really enjoyed his lessons here but, unfortunately, no one answers the phone or returns call for ski lessons. It was bad last year and even worse this year. It is very frustrating. Who knows, maybe that is why they are not always booked. The lessons are good for 1st timers.Visited March 2022Written February 2, 2023

I just wish the ski lesson was longer; it was only 45 minutes on a very (almost flat hill). Other than that, it was fun for a low-key activity afternoon.Visited April 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 15, 2023

Tubing was lots of fun! There are just a couple of things to keep in mind. You have to make reservations and we got the last spot 3 weeks in advance. It was a 5pm -6pm time which was good and bad. Good from 530-6 there were only about 30 people there and no lines. Bad was that it was FREEZING!! and they stopped letting people link up tubes and go together. you could only go down as a single. It was getting really icy and people were flying! Lots of fun but dress warmly and make reservations early!

Great way to enjoy slipping on the snow with no experience necessary. Our group of eight did four tubers at a time. The instructor spun us around then pushed us down the hill towards a fun experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two days at the adventure park. The first day we enjoyed the tubing (our ages 5-67) and the second day our first time skiers (5 and 8 yes) had a great time and came away with confidence in their new ski skills.
Thanks to the helpful staff!!

Tickets were limited even though we booked weeks in advance. We were able to secure 2 tickets for the older kiddos. We took the younger one sledding (free) down the hill nearby while the older two went tubing. They had an amazing time! Highly recommend but make sure to book way in advance (especially with COVID) so the whole family can join.

First time out with wife. Helpful staff. More trails then we needed. Close to town. Happy hour daily 2-5. Afternoon inside overrun by school teams. Would go again.

It was our kids first ski lesson and this was the perfect location. Much cheaper and less crowded than Breckenridge. We did a group lesson and there were 7 people in it. At the end of the lesson you can go down a green "equivalent hill" as many times as you want. It was about 10 minutes from Breckenridges Main Street. Our ski instructor was Travis and he was very kind and patient. Truly a great place to learn how to ski or snowboard.

How is the height restriction enforced/policed? Our 2 year old is 35" with boots. Her winter hat gets her close to 36". Is there signage similar to a ride at an amusement park? Or is it more of a "general rule" that isn't enforced that much?
Am currently in beaver creek but there is only skiing..where can I find snow tubing, snow mobiling, horse sleighing ...help!!

A short drive away to Frisco is the Frisco adventure park that has snow tubing and horse sleigh rides. A short distance from Frisco near Breckenridge is Good times adventures which offers snowmobile and dog sledding tours. Have fun.
How much is the entrance price?

Tubing is $28 per hour, all day Ski/Ride Hill lift ticket
(Kids 4 and under ski free, NOT valid for tubing)is $35 and a Nordic Center day pass is $25. You just need to choose which activity you would like to do. Most activities need reservations so visit the Frisco Adventure Park website for more info.

How 1 hour of tubing is enforced? Like how do they know when we finished? Also after 1 hour can I just climb on top of the hill just to take a picture? Or magic carpet is also enforced by 1 hour?
Kelsy M
Red Cliff, CO1 contribution
Hi GG122, we print your tubing time on your ticket and check tickets at the bottom of the magic carpet. You will want to plan to take your pictures during your tubing time, as you will not be able to continue to ride the magic carpet once your tubing time is complete. Please feel free to give us a call at 970-668-2558 and we would be happy to answer any additional questions you have and assist you with reservations. Thank you!

When is it the best time to visit? I’m looking to go when it’s not too cold but still can enjoy sledding. We live in Florida and will not be used to the cold. My 4 yr old really wants to go sledding and play in the snow. Any recommendations would be great

March is typically warmer here in the mountains, but of course there is no guarantee around weather. Having the right clothing generally makes any experience in the snow better so that means snow pants and a jacket, which are insulated and waterproof, as well as mittens and warm hats, of which you should have at least 2 sets each because they can get wet and cold. Also, cotton is not your friend and any under layers should be wool or synthetic fabrics that will wick away moisture. There is a used sporting goods store in town that is great for stocking up on clothing when you know you that you might not be using it again anytime soon- Recycle Sports Frisco. There's no bad weather- just bad clothing. Also, if you plan to tube at the Adventure Park, make sure you make a reservation for tubing. Have fun!

The beginner ski and ride hill at the Frisco Adventure Park opens on January 11, 2017. Copper mountain is a seven minute drive from Frisco (Summit Stage offers free bus service) and is available for downhill skiing now. There are also another five downhill ski areas within 30 minutes of Frisco including Breckenridge which is 15 minutes away, Keystone which is 20 minutes away and Vail Mountain which is 30 minutes away. Frisco also has a cross-country ski center, the Frisco Nordic Center. There is more information at the Town of Frisco website.

Hi, how far are you from Breckenridge and do you provide transportation from there?
We are a family of 4, and were interested in tubing on 12/27th
Vanessa A
Dillon, CO33 contributions
Lourdes- Let the Summit stage driver know that you want to get off at the Community and Senior Center. From that point you will cross at the light and take the plowed recreation path about 1/3 mile to the Adventure Park. It is a mellow and beautiful walk. You can book tubing online at the Frisco Adventure Park website or by calling 970-668-2558. Hope to see you out there.

Can you rent ski pants?
Vanessa A
Dillon, CO33 contributions
Rebecca:
The Frisco Adventure Park does not rent ski pants, but Recycle Sports located at 695 N Summit Blvd in Frisco has great deals on used ski pants (in the shopping area across the street from Walmart). The Adventure Park includes a tubing hill, 45km of snowshoe and cross-country ski trails, horse drawn sleigh rides and a beginner ski/ride hill (opening January 4th for the season). I would not characterize it as an "amusement park".
