Called about 1 week prior to rental date and was given a quote of $970 for a full day. I repeated this several times to make sure the quote for a FULL day for 5 double seat snow machines was correct. I asked at least twice if this was the total price with taxes, etc. I spoke with a lady with a Cheq accent who gave me the initial quote. When we arrived we were told the price was $1400+ and no amount of arguing about the quoted price was listened to. Because the kids and grandkids had planned and looked forward to this day we accepted the increased rental cost. Rest of the day went fine until we tried to start the truck that was included in the rental price. The 2 batteries were dead and we spend over a half hour trying to jump and start the truck. After a call to the shop the mechanic or whomever I spoke with said that this happened sometimes. This truck, Ford F-250, is well past it's prime and backfired continuously on the way back to the shop, causing us to wonder if it was going to make it. Giving it 3 stars because the snow machines did function OK and employees were congenial.

We rented 7 snowmobiles.

We got them loaded and secured on two trailers and got the two trucks pulling them without extra cost too. We even got free helmets.

Machines worked flawlessly. We got them for a full 4 hours, rather than just 2 hours that many other providers offer.

Great trouble free return. We'll use them again.

We were looking for a snowmobile company to rent from and did not want to take a tour as we have rented snowmobiles many times in the past and like to go at our own pace. Adventure Times was conveniently located in Frisco as we were stsying in Breckenridge. They had our four sleds ready on day of rental and loaded on the trailer for us. All we had to do was pay and select our helmets to use. I did not have to reserve the rental with a cc either. Make sure you book in advance during peak season (spring break). Was easy to get to trailhead at Vail Pass and unload the sleds. The Ski Doo 600s worked great but are a little underpowered if you have ridden sleds before. Made it up the steeper hills bit at a slow pace. But they are made for touring and are very comfy with heated grips/throttle. Everyone at Adventure Times was friendly and ensured we had all our questions answered. Certainly recommend them ifvyiubwant to do your own touring in the mountains.

Although we had a successful trip overall there were a number of things that were not acceptable in my book.

1) The equipment was not well maintained. By this I mean there were questionable things that were not address. I rented 4 ATV's at once. one of the sets of tires was in severe need of changing. I was told "it's a rental, what do you expect." 2 of the 4 ATV's did not have rear brakes and only had front brakes. 100% unacceptable. The truck that comes with the trailer was 100% not road legal in that the windshield had so many cracks across the drivers side that it was massively distracting and impaired visibility.

2) When I questioned the severely worn down tires I was told that if you don't feel safe, we don't feel safe." That alone is not my problem, the fact is that the guy walked away and basically left me hanging with the ultimatum of take it or leave it. Told me it would take him over an hour to change out the tires. That should have already been done. Really poor customer service on the equipment side. Basically they did not care at all..

3) When we returned everything in good condition the guy looked it over thoroughly and then walked away. Never confirming that we were good to go or even took our truck keys from us.

Overall it was a bad experience on the customer service and equipment side. We had a blast regardless but they feel that since you checked off 50 boxes of disclaimers that their butt is covered if you get in any danger or are injured due to poor maintenance of the equipment. Not recommended. You have been warned. Good customer service would have gone a long way especially when spending $600 for 4-5 hours.

Upon arriving at 7:50am we needed to pay and select our helmets. At this point we were informed helmets we extra. Our total for 2 people were $358. After paying and signing what seemed like our life away, we met with a gentleman at the maps. We were instructed to download an app CoTrax so we could find the trails. We were then told that we needed to drive up the street to pick up the truck with the atv's. We rented 4 singles and a double atv, for 6 passengers. The truck held 5!

Once we arrived at the lot with truck we were given 5 minutes instructions on how to unload, load, and operate the atv's. Thank goodness we had a truck driver with us as the remaining 5 people were unable to drive a truck with a trailer and 5 atv's. Since 1 car has to follow the truck we noticed the trailer did not even have BRAKE LIGHTS! Clearly this company was not concerned with our safety. Just with nickle and diming us for freaking helmets and goggles.

At about 8:45am we arrived at the parking lot and it took a few minutes to unstrap all of the atv's and unload them via the ramps that were provided. Finally hitting the trails 1 hour into 4 hours that we paid for. How is this even possible?

Since we were given the app with no real instructing for beginner riders we had no clue which trails to choose. We randomly chose one. The trails were so rocky and difficult to navigate. The trails are shared with off roaders, bikers, and hikers. At one point 2 different riders in our party nearly flipped due to the size of the rocks/boulders and the incline of the trails. Obviously they should inquire the skill level of the drivers. I nearly flipped off of a cliff because I was stuck.

3 of our atv's did not have parking brakes, 1 would not go into reverse, 1 had less gas (2 bars) than all of the others, none of them had lights that functioned therefore in the dust you could not locate the rest of our party. At the water crossing 1 of the atv's stalled and would not restart for approx 5 minutes. It was smoking and just dead! It finally started again but continued to studder for probably 20 minutes.

We decided that we would get to the truck at 11:30am to load the truck. It took nearly 20 minutes to load the truck and figure out how to strap them in. This should not be left for the common folk to do! How dangerous it is to drive with a trailer without brake lights and people that have no clue how to tie down.

Once we returned to the office we dealt with the same rude woman (possibly Russian). She was snarky the entire time we interacted with her. She inquired about any issues we had with the atv's, I informed her of all the issues we had (listed above) and she stated well guess you should tell the manager. I retorted you asked me about the issues. I didn't offer the information you asked. This woman was either having a terrible day or was just a downright nasty jerk to us! Either was I would NEVER recommend this company as the customer service was terrible and safety was not a high priority to this company!

We rented a UTV from adventure time rentals to enjoy the Georgia Pass today. Since it was our first time on these trails, I asked at time of reservation (and also when arriving) if the 6 seater would be able to handle those trails and was assured it would. If you’re thinking of renting a 6 seater from this company, just don’t. The machine can barely make it up the hills… returned early and definitely not worth the time or money!

And sure, their reply says they can go up. What they don’t say is you’ll be going 2-3mph and trying not to bottom out. Would’ve been nice for the honesty before spending rental fees!

Highly recommend!! We rented a 4 person side by side for a full day and had a blast! (2 adults/2 kids) Equipment was good and we didn’t have any issues. I would recommend doing the full day since I feel like the half day would limit you on how much exploring you could do. Definitely go up to the Continental Divide, most incredible views we have ever seen!!

We paid in full had everything ready. We made it 3 miles out into the trail and a tire popped. There is no service, no spare, no patch kit. We had to slowly crawl back and load up the machines. We then drove back into town and of course the "partner" Victor still wanted to charge us half claiming the tire was our fault.

The machines were in bad shape, bald tires, and just old and crappy. Same as the vehicles to get you to the trail - which count as part of the (4) hours you get on the trail.

We ended up going back and forth and I paid $300 so we could leave the property. He stated you can stay here all night if you want. No apology, NOTHING.

Keep in mind $300 for 3 miles and 20m on the machines. Started off paying half and he slowly came down to $300. Oh there was another couple who made it partially out and their machine stated "problems with oil pressure" they had to come back as well and were refunded fully. They were pissed as well.

I would never recommend and I highly ask you to go somewhere else.

Snowmobiles we rented were really beat up, along with the trailer. Ramp was so crappy, we spent about 30 minutes just getting them unloaded. Dangerous! Were told the machines were full of gas. One kept dying. Gas gage said empty, but called for help and they said the gage was not working. They added more gas, but the machine would still would quit periodically. Hard to trust it to go very far! Spent about half our rental time dealing with these issues. Upon return, staff expressed no regret for this poor experience with their equipment. Won't be renting from or recommending them again.

Absolutely terrible. Zero communication. Did not prove any information about the snowmobiles. It was a group of 16 of us, we had reserved 8 double snowmobiles. We arrived for our 1-5pm time slot, we signed the waivers and paid. They made us drive 15 minutes to the course for us to get there and say they only had 7 available. Biggest waste of time. Only positive was getting a refund was easy.
