This was a full, full-day experience. Total value for the money - river guides were invested and kept you engaged and interested; scenery is extraordinary; river gave you just enough adventure. We had a 5 year old to a 72 year old and everything in...More

So my family and I went white water rafting for the first time on the Colorado River. Chose Red Tail because of the ratings they have had. So in a couple of words, crew is safe, scenery was awesome, rafts were in great condition, equipment...More

Had a wonderful rafting trip with our family. We were lucky enough to have Mouse as our guide. Very experienced and knowledgeable about the river. He even recommended a fishing spot near where we were staying that proved to be very good. We even saw...More

This is a family run business and they provide great guides that connect with their clients and are interactive talking with everyone. The guides are very careful and are aware of safety needs before, during, and after the rafting. The guides assist clients of all...More

Took the kids for their first rafting trip. Nothing too intense. Nice stops along the river. And knowledgeable guides, especially Mouse...a legend among guides. The jokes were pretty bad, though. Guess you can't have everything!

I did lots of research prior to our trip and chose Red Tail because they were a small, family run operation rather than one of the large commercial outfits. Best decision ever. We had an amazing time on our rafting trip. The guides were friendly...More

Mouse, Bruno, and Spence lead us on a rollicking raft trip. We were picked up on time in Granby, given a great history, geology, water politics and sociology of the west tour on our way to the put-in spot. Red Tail was safe, good-humored and...More

Unfortunately we will not be running trips at that time. We typically start rafting near the end of May.
