I miss living just 3 blocks from this place. Although I didn't frequent it enough while I lived in Fort Collins, every visit was a treat! Their finely crafted food always hit the spot and stood up to the fine dining establishments in the area. The beer was "Firkin" amazing and served at the proper temperature of tradition. Five stars from me 💯

Their cask aged beers are a great change of pace from other beers on the market. The Wulver is their cask aged IPA and is great.

They always have something new to try as well. I just tried their Black Cork porter and it didn't disappoint.

McClellan's offers amazing handcrafted cask ales - which are definitely available in the "to go" mode during the Covid-19 restrictions! Their sandwiches are simply wonderful . . . best Reuben in town! Until we can all get back to relaxing at our favorite pubs, a take-out growler and sandwich definitely soothes the soul!

My husband and I like to try new breweries in towns around where we live and sometimes struggle to find ones that also serve food. We ended up here because my hub is a big fan of Scotch ales and they have a few of those on their menu. He enjoyed the beer and we both enjoyed the food. Nothing fancy (mainly sandwiches) but seemed to be good quality and they had gluten-free bread which was great for me. Service was very friendly. Ambiance wasn't special but nothing wrong with it either.

The is our favorite place to hang out and get a beer in Fort Collins! The cost of the beers are very reasonable, great quality, and have a variety of options for all interests. Everyone that works there is so kind and we’ve almost always run into the the incredible and friendly owner that is very knowledgeable and hands on in making his products. Cask and keg beers available and the food is great too! I also like that it isn’t too loud to hold a conversation but is still lively.

This is my favorite place in Ft Collins. PERIOD. There is no better place for beer, service or food. Light (Wolver IPA cask or keg) or dark (Son of a Nutcracker), the beer is amazing. And there is nothing, I repeat, nothing on the menu that isn't amazing. Reuben and club are exceptional. And service is out of this world.

It is rare that I actually fear rating a place too high for fear that it get too busy and ruin my experience but this is that place. I hope it gets busy enough to always sustain the same level of amazingness but not too busy to ruin the perfect experience we have had EVERY TIME!

Thank you McClellans. You are perfect in every way

The beers (a stout, porter and Scottish ale) were just ok. The service was friendly and efficient and the sandwiches were better than the beers.

We have been eating at McClellans for several years now and it never disappoints! The beer selection is great and local, their reubens and pastrami sandwhiches are amazing and, our absolute favorite, the stuffed pretzels with mango chutney sauce are to die for. You wont be sorry you went.

I love this place with it's outside patio (chalk provided for impromptu art, too!). The people are always friendly and welcoming at what has become my neighborhood bar, and it's a place to get together with friends. A really great selection of cask ales and an awesome menu full of delicious stuff. My goal is to try everything on the menu at least once. The staff is wonderful, too!

The sandwiches were awesome. My favorite was the cheese and charcuterie board. The bread is made with the yeast that remains after the brewing of the beer! Excellent idea!
