What we offer at The Fort Collins Escape Room We currently have 3 mazing games Raven’s Quest, Mission To Planet X, and Kingdom Of The Dragon, You’ll have 60 minutes to solve the mysteries and puzzles in our rooms. These games will surely challenge and test your skills in problem solving, critical thinking, deductive reasoning and other big words we can’t even pronounce! Here at The Fort Collins Escape Room, we have built fully immersive environments to host our games that make your team feel like they’re living the adventure! Participants must work together using communication and teamwork, critical thinking and observational and mechanical problem solving skills to successfully escape the room. Escape room players get to know each other in a whole new way finding everyone's hidden skills and untapped potential! Join us for 3 of Norther Colorado's premier Escape Rooms!

This was one of the best escape rooms we've done! It was challenging and well done. The theme was fun and really well thought out. We did this during the Covid 19 pandemic and all attempts for cleanliness and social distancing were in place to make us feel safe. We did the Medieval themed room. We escaped with 2 seconds to spare!

We had this as stop on our holiday staff party outing. We (as individuals and as a group) have done other escape rooms and this one had the best props / room construction I've ever seen!! The story line was fantastic with no "creepy" factor (good for all ages). I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to try an escape room, with the caveat that you may be disappointed with any other room you try afterwards :) We're looking forward to them opening a second experience!!

We visited for our anniversary, and tried our hands at the Escape from the Machine room.
It was amazing!
The detail was phenomenal, and the puzzles fun and challenging.
We are looking forward to returning for another room soon! :)

Mission to Planet X is yet another high quality, engaging, thought provoking game from the Fort Collins Escape Room mind (maybe better than Escape the Machine). This game definitely needs a group of 4+ to play! As seasoned gamers, we were seriously challenged by this game (in a good way). We made it out with just 7 minutes to spare!
While there's nothing jumpy or scary in this game, it is a little creepy (I mean, you're on a space mission to another planet), so this might not be the best one for the faint of heart or young children.
Chris and the wonderful staff at FCER make this more than an escape room - this is an interactive, theatrical experience second to none.
The only thing we want changed is for them to have more space so they can have more than 2 games built at a time.

Great host, Jamison really acts the part and sets the tone for the experience. Escape room is challenging but clues from the host really help. Had a fun experience together (all adult family in group) and it was an unforgettable pregnancy announcement from our sister and brother-in-law!

A fun hour with a group of friends trying to find clues and solve puzzles while figuring out how to proceed to the next room and ultimately escape. For the first-timers in our group, the experience was challenging. Those in our group who had gone through other escape rooms were able to apply what they previously learned to complete the challenge.
The cost is $24 per person. For the price, I expected a better presentation. The rooms were worn and cheaply put together compared to other escape rooms we've visited. There are plans to build a second, differently themed escape room on the premises.

I came into this experience with no overall expectations. The owner is the one who runs the show and he is charismatic and friendly and really makes the time there special.
Production values are HUGE with escape rooms like these. The setup here is a 'steampunk' Victorian setting and it is pulled off well without being at all cheesy. The production values are very high for a single person to have produced and designed. Each setting is well made and furnished with a level of attention to detail that is missing in many other escape rooms.
The puzzles are overall immensely fun and challenging without being over the top with the need for obscure knowledge. Thinking outside the box is a must and it really serves to either make or break a team. In order to make it out in time you will have to work as a team and this is what makes it the perfect outing. I cannot recommend it highly enough for a brain teasing puzzle and great memories- plus the satisfaction when you make it through in time!
Word of advice - Do not go into this too many beers deep, also go in with an open mind and patience to work as a team. Even if you do not make it out it will be a very fun experience.

My college age son was raving about a puzzle room he and his friends did in December, so I convinced 6 other friends to try it with my husband and me in January. We've been hooked ever since and do 1 new room a month. This was our 4th room and unanimously voted the best so far. The puzzles were plentiful and challenging. Everything fit with the overall theme and had a great flow.
The game started out with us all picking from a variety of steam punk hats and goggles that really loosened us up and got us "in the mood". Then the owner gave us the back story and very clear instructions. After that, the real fun began. We had the option of 2 ways to play the game. The first option was to not get any hints along the way and the second was to get 2-3 hints on request. We chose the latter and were very happy about how the whole thing played out. We played the room with 10 people and everyone was engaged the whole time, but 8 people is probably optimal.
The only suggestion I would make is to give the walkie-talkie you get for communication with the owner to someone who hears really well. I had it and my old lady deaf ears had some issues understanding some of the directions we were given through it. But the owner was very patient and repeated them until I got it :)
Definitely check out this dude's rooms! And, if you're like us and want more, also check out the room that started our puzzle room quest and is a VERY close 2nd place, Somewhere Secret in Fort Collins.

Our office staff went to the Ft Collins Escape Room and had a magnificent time! We were all first timers and had no idea what to expect. We got our briefing and jumped in to start the adventure. The clues and props were top notch. There was an amazing amount of creativity that went into setting this up and it's so fun and challenging. You can ask for clues when you get stumped, and they are helpful, but ultimately you can feel the pride of figuring out the puzzles on your own.
This is a 'must do' if you enjoy exercising your brain!

My martial arts school owner took his staff to the Fort Collins Escape Room as our Holiday party. Of the nine of us, only one has had any experience with escape rooms.
The owner of Fort Collins Escape Room met us when we arrived. He was very personable and told us many interesting things about escape rooms in general and this one in particular. It was clear to us that he had put a lot into it, from scouting for furniture to building one-of-a-kind contraptions to making sure the experience is varied and engaging.
Just before the clock started, we were given hats of various sorts, rules, and instructions that didn't make complete sense at that moment but proved useful when we were in the escape room. Actually, there are several connecting rooms, each furnished with great attention to details, many of which are merely whimsical, others for authentic period ambiance, and yet others, as clues. Red herrings were plentiful as well.
Our team escaped within an hour; 46 minutes 14 seconds, to be exact. We agreed that the degree of difficulty struck the right balance or being challenging and doable. The entire experience was fun and everyone of us was able to contribute at least one idea to help us solve the puzzle.
When the evening started, there was one escape room fan. When it ended, there were eight more.
Hurry up and set up another adventure!
