Amazing views...

The Horsetooth Park and open space are beautiful places.. and very convenient. Really enjoyed the winding (but safe) roads and the fresh air.

We came to enjoy the beach area. There are two, defiantly use the South Bay Area, it is much bigger. It is a mix of rocks and sand but the water was cool and relaxing! Plus the views of the reservoir where great!

We are just in town for one day, and enjoyed driving around the lake, hiking a trail to the water, and stopping for pictures. Beautiful!

Had a friend in town, he wanted to see Horsetooth, we stopped at an over look for 10 minutes, cost $20. There should be 15 minute parking w/ out a pass. Ranger was was a jerk as well.We told him is was just 10 minutes, He said " do you know how many people have told me that"

Great for boating, jet skis, etc. and camping. They're kind of sticklers about where you can swim though. If you're just looking to get in the water the river is a better choice.

I went hiking in the park over July 4th weekend. It was very crowded as you would expect on a beautiful holiday weekend. I still enjoyed the views and cooler temps. The reservoir provides all the water activities like kayaking, boating & fishing. Camping is also available.

Went rafting/tubing on 4th of July. Paddled around on water which as refreshing as it was hot. Wear sunscreen and a big hat. Can also row, paddle board or kayak. Great fun. If not in/on the water then take a hike or go mountain biking. If hiking watch for rattle snakes. Bring lots of water and snaks as there are... More

There's many trails on Horsetooth. We decided to do Horse tooth Rock which was a bit hard with an uphill climb and even harder climb on the rocks just to get to the top view! It was worth it and the sense of satisfaction felt good. Bring lots of water and a cliff bar, especially on a hot day.
