It is free; parking is free, tho it's technically on the Colorado State University campus, so while classes are in session it can be tricky to find a spot. Later in the year, after the snow falls, many of the plants are taken out, but it ought to be a nice view during the time frame of your visit. There is also a fun consignment store and a great coffee shop across the street. Do NOT park in the nearby Taco Bell lot, as you will be towed.
