No trip to FoCo is complete without a walk through the gardens and plants grown by the talented CSU students. Many can be purchased. All can be photographed and enjoyed.

I always enjoy strolling through these gardens no matter what the season. There are interesting and new ideas for your yard, but even if you don't, it is always nice to stop and smell the flowers! And it is free.

This is a trial plot for new flowers. It is very interesting, Everything is marked. They have beds of different flower varieties and thy report back to the growers about the quality of the flowers.

Very colorful and beautiful area. Worth stopping by if you are in the area during the summer months. Not overly crowded.

This free exhibit is sponsored by CSU every year to try out different flowers and veggies in our climate. They plant in the ground and in pots. You can go and walk around any time. There are no "open/closed" hours and no fee. You are free to take pictures and get ideas for your garden. It's nice to see what... More

Wait until everything is in bloom, usually in early July. It's fun to see all the different varieties of plants and flowers.

As a resident, I pass the Gardens frequently and love bringing out-of-town visitors. I learn something new every time and note the names of the flower species --even if I don't intend to plant them in my landscape!

A fantastic FREE stop while visiting Fort Collins. CSU students do an amazing job each year setting out a wonderful variety of plants and color schemes to inspire! Be sure to cross the street and snap a picture with the Warhol Campbell's Soup Can!
