If on a roadtrip with kids, stop here. Kids have fun, great little park with Dino theme. Been here twice years apart, good both times. Eat nearby at serious Texas bbq. God and authentic. Decent restroom at the park too

This is a great public park. It has a huge playground for kids that includes climbing walls and unique playground equipment that I haven't seen elsewhere. Also, there are baseball fields, a professional quality roller hockey rink, tennis courts, and pavilions. There is a long running/walking path around a series of lakes. There is a nice dog park. There is abundant parking. I couldn't believe it was not crowded at all on a nice weekend day. Take the kids--they'll love it.

We LOVE Fossil Creek Park, and visit it often. The one downside is the location of the bathrooms not being near the playground. As a fun treasure hunt, look for REAL fossils near the entrance sign on Lemay Ave. A local geologist often hides them there just for fun!

Playground for those kiddos who like and are good at climbing. They can climb a tusked mammoth that is 6ft tall. Concrete climbing wall towards one of the slides.
Lots of spinning columns for kids that love to spin. Not for anxious parents or you might find yourself 6ft up a mammoth doing a rescue mission.

Our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughters live in Fort Collins, Colorado. We believe Fort Collins is one of the most family-friendly cities in the US. Whenever we visit from New Mexico we usually take the granddaughters over to Fossil Creek Park. The design is very unique, incorporating the dinosaur them. The play attractions are varied and plenty for little ones and older kids. The setting is very open so kids can run and play without worry they will run into each other. There is plenty of open, green grass space and a very good dog park. Highly recommended.

We enjoy taking our grandkids to this park. Ft. Collins has some great parks and this is one of our favorites. There is a splash pad area close to the playground as well.

This is a GREAT location in the south part of Fort Collins that has multiple trails that are GREAT for running, walking and biking. There are also large grassy, open areas for kicking a soccer ball or throwing a football.

This is a great park to walk your dog it is clean and wonderful but smells funny probably something to do with the 3 small ponds/lakes with all the geese and ducks. They also have a dog play area if you are into letting your dog play with others.
