First trip to Water World for me and my daughter. Bought tickets online when there was an end of summer sale. We had the best time ever. Only complaint would be having to carry the water slide tubes long distances and up hills to ride...More

This is ultimately the biggest and funnest water park I have ever been too. This 70 acres water park has 50 very fast rides for all age kids and adults. The Thunder Bay big tidal wave pool is for a surfers dream in Denver. Family...More

They don’t put a cap on attendance so you will end up waiting 45-60 minutes for most rides. They also close way before daylight ends so you’re lucky to get in 5-6 attractions not including the wave pool. Also, very poorly designed slides make you...More

We had a great time - planned to spend about 3 hours and stayed all day! We chose a good time - mid-week and after many schools had started. No lines, not too hot, great fun!

Good fun but be prepared for long lines at popular rides (even on week days). Easy parking (free). Bring sunscreen and flip flops. Some ride will not let you wear water shoes. Food is adequate, moderately price for a park. Can bring in picnic foods....More

Great water park with tons of rides, lines were long on popular rides...but that is normal. Hated walking tubes everywhere for rides with my kids, it wiped them out...so guess who carried everything. Next time I think it would be worth it to get the...More

While I love water parks, the wave pool here is a death trap. My 16 year old daughter, who is a strong swimmer, got TRAPPED below all of the rafts at the wave pool and could NOT surface. There were NO hand grips on the...More

I was a bit wary going in based on reviews. We went on a cooler Monday so that may have contributed to the fact that it was far from crowded. What a pleasant surprise. Our group of 14 all had a blast. We had no...More

Yes you can. There are plenty of spots on the grass, common areas, and picnic areas that have shelter/shade to have a picnic. On busy days, though, we’ve struggled to find open spots to do so. But if you’re there when they... More

My family & cousins (9 total in all) are thinking about going to Water World the Thursday after this July 4th (2018). After reading Mark's review and purposefully reading the terrible reviews, I have a couple of questions. - Is the 'Giardia in the Water' problem 100% fixed? (If you don't know, no worries. There are other avenues one can use to find out.) -I've read a lot about the Tube Valet. I will look at Water World's website for more details, but is it really worth it? What does that mean. Some park employee's sole job in life at the park is to stationed at certain rides where they carry guests tubes/rafts up? Is the fee per/person? Is this something I can forego because I hate spending money on things I think should be free? Or is this well worth the price considering 5 kids 10 and under will be with me? (Okay that's more like 20-million questions, but I think it can be summed up with is the Tube Valet worth it?) -How early (no time is too early for me) should we get to Water World to guarantee getting Tube Valet's, or tube/raft rental? Thanks for your help!

The tube valet will work with up to four people and a tot. It is $70 if you don’t have any kind of pass or discount. Not cheap to be sure, but can save you a few hours of waiting in lines. By about 10:30 all of the tube... More
