Took my two daughters, 10 & 12, and two nieces, age 9, for a two hour horseback ride, and we all really enjoyed it. Breathtaking scenery, great guide (Devon), and horses and tack were in good shape. They want you to ride spread out side by side rather than ride in a nose to tail row, which is great, and... More

This was an awesome experience riding on the horses through the mountains. Would definitely recommend this. The horse are well trained, calm, and easy to control.

Have you ever been on a horseback ride where you simply lope along behind the horse in front of you for an hour or so? Of course you have, because that's just how nearly everyone does it. Not at American Safari Ranch. They will first match you to a horse that matches your riding ability. You will then be taken... More

I actually never used the services of this company. I had to hang up before I finalize the trip. I first emailed the owner to get more info on the horseback and ATV package. His answer was to call the ranch which was not easy because I was oversee and had to pay $1 a minute for a call. But... More

American Safari Ranch's horseback riding is phenomenal and an absolute must if you are planning a visit to one of Colorado's mountain towns. My family and I have been doing a yearly trip to Breckenridge for over 15 years now, and I can't believe we just now discovered this gem. ASR has a massive, breathtaking property full of picturesque views.... More

This was a spontaneous trip for us and was one of my kids favorite things we did. They fit us in last minute. The horses were great and an awesome ride for us who had never rode horses. Highly recommend!! Devon and Chad were awesome and very informative!!!

We at stayed in Breckenridge and made the drive so that we could ride the horses more freely than a nose to tail trail ride. This place was great! The guides were awesome. A lot more ability to control and ride the horse than your standard nose to tail ride. Highly recommend.

We went to ASR and a lot of our group were first timers, that didn't hinder the experience! Matt was our guide and he was extremely fun and really made this a fabulous experience! He really gave us the best time we could have asked for! He was very friendly and made sure we had a great time! His customer... More

My daughter and I visited for a 2 hour ride. We rode through beautiful mountains, and it was not your typical "stay in a line and walk" ride. We had a great time, and the guide was fabulous, and lunch (included) was delicious
