While on vacation in the area we booked a 4 hour rappelling excursion at Alderfer/ 3 Sisters Park. Personalized service by our guide (Ryan) was superb. Communication, customer service, expertise, professionalism, safety, and passion were fantastic. The family (with teenagers) loved it. Thanks Ryan!!!

We did a full day of rock climbing and repelling in Golden, CO with Ryan as our guide from Evergreen Wilderness. It was a fantastic experience we will never forget. We are a family of 3 with a high school daughter and two parents on the far side of the 40's. Ryan was very accommodating to our individual levels of experience and comfort. He was great at explaining the technical side of what he was doing with all the gear so that we knew what was important and that felt safe. The location was beautiful and had many different climbs and repels we could try. Ryan was very personable, patient and professional. He made it clear what we needed to bring. He also was able to provide all the gear we needed. All 3 of us highly recommend Ryan and Evergreen Wilderness.

Took the Advanced Survival Skills Course with Roary 1/25/20. Absolutely loved it!! Roary is extremely knowledgeable and showed me edible plants, plants good for antibacterial/first-aid properties, the principles of shelter building and resource appropriation, as well as fire-building techniques using what we found out in nature. And we made fire! Beyond that Roary is very aware of his surroundings and whats happening...out there. The experience was fascinating and extremely useful to anyone who walks away from the trail head. Cover your ass, take this course.

My wife and I booked a mountain bike tour with Jack and we had a great time. Jack helped us get our rental bikes to and from the trails and planned a route that matched our skill level. We will book another tour next time we visit Colorado.

Mr Ryan and Mike were very friendly and professional. Our safety was top of mind. We were a group of 8 and had a great time. The weather and views in early October were outstanding.

I was a little apprehensive about trying Zip Lining but absolutely loved it. The Zip lines are in a very scenic area. The guides where helpful and very concerned about our safety.

Could not have asked for more. We are two novice climbers from Australia with a two year old in tow. These guys were patient, encouraging and accommodating. We drove an hour each way to get to this hike and climb; it was worth it. My advice, skip the Boulder guided tours and call these guys. You won’t regret it.

Jack did a really nice job of guiding us and keeping us safe. I was the least experience dealing with the height/elevation but he made a habit of making sure nobody in our group was left behind. Great experience... beautiful scenery!

Went on a day adventure to do some climbing and get a refresher course on safe climbing practices to include belaying, knot tying , equalizing anchors and repelling with autoblocks.. Our guide Jack was very experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of climbing as well as being great fun. Would highly recommend for both beginners and advanced climbers. Can't wait to do again!

Evergreen Wilderness Guides (EWG) is PERFECT! I was in Denver for business this week and wanted to spend about four hours on a light off-trail hike and try some beginner climbing. I had heard I should contact EWG. Great advice. I called EWG and set up a date and time - luckily they had an opening. The drive from downtown to Evergreen, Colorado, was easy - 45 minutes just as rush hour was getting started. Jack from EWG took me to Three Sisters Park. He's a geologist and certified rock instructor, and he knows his way around all types of terrain and conditions. We hiked off-trail for about an hour, ascending quite a bit, as I wanted. Along the way, Jack pointed out interesting plants and animal "artifacts" and information about rock formations. I'm from Memphis (at sea level, basically), and the altitude around Evergreen hit me hard... a lot harder than in Denver. But Jack was attentive, expectant, and ready, and he worked me through it - drink a lot of water, among other things. When we got to our climbing site, which he had picked out specifically for me and my level of fitness and experience, he showed me the ropes, literally. I learned to tie the required knots and how they worked with the climbing equipment. I learned about the climbing equipment. I learned proper technique. I learned how to climb up a rock face that I would have never dreamed of attempting before taking Jack's class. Then I repelled down. I never felt intimidated or unsafe. It was as though he intuitively understood my every need and concern. Frankly, it was amazing. The hike back was equally fun. I would recommend that you call EWG the next time you're in the Denver area. I asked a lot of questions about how he would cater the trip for other types of clients, as I'd like to tell my friends and colleagues about it. He would be perfect for inexperienced solo climbers, families with young kids (in fact, he told me he's teaching a mom and dad and two kids under ten tomorrow), and couples. He would also be perfect for corporate team-building. He teaches novice tourist types like me but also intermediate to highly experienced climbers. Regardless of your comfort level, he puts you at ease. And on top of all that, EWG was so reasonably priced! Well worth the money and the time. Trust me, you will not regret the time you spend with EWG!
