About
Emerge yourself into the world of Siebrandt, a curious inventor who once lived in the southern woods of the Netherlands. During one of his experiments, an enormous explosion threw Siebrandt's house upside down. From that day on, we've never heard from him again but when you visit Mind Mystery, you'll learn all about him and his inventions. He won't be there, but you will feel him all around you!

We've read the reviews where people said it would get crowded quickly so we decided to get the first available time and get there early.

Good thing we did cause it does get very busy quickly. Mostly due to the fact that it's a very small park.

I visited the place with my 9 year old. Including a break for a snack and spend a total of two hours there.

Go to the house first to take pictures before it gets too busy.

It was a neat and unique experience. The upside down house was the main attraction which was really fun to get the optical illusion photos. The optical illusion “gallery” was fun to examine. I rated the experience as average because it felt more geared towards family/children rather than a couple’s date night out (which is totally okay but wish I had known before I went); and the main attraction was the house and therefore think the cost of admission was overpriced. The cafe, although the food looked good, was overpriced. Fun experience but wouldn’t go again.

Visit was fun. A lot of interesting mind tricks to see. Some common known of famous, but I’ve also seen enough not known to myself. For our 7 and 10 year old kids there was enough to see and do. But, I think it is more interesting for kids just a little older.
Tickets are relatively pricey for what you get.

We have visited mind mystery under rain and strict corona regulations but still enjoyed it. The attractions in mind mystery were well prepared and maintained. Most are suitable for the whole family. We spend around 2h there, which I believe was enough to see everything without a hurry.

Very nice museum with exceptional attractions that mess with your mind. Unfortunately only for an hour or two. A bit short but still worth a visit. One advice: bring some aspirin with you because there is a chance of getting a headache.

Absolutely a great place worth a visit! Though the venue is relatively small you can easily spend a few hours amazing yourself here. All illusions are well explained by the friendly, omnipresent staff. Though you can bring younger kids I think it is better suited for ages 6 and above.

Great optical illusions, staff who genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing and really happy to help, Watch the ball roll up the hill, walk around on the ceiling, lose your body and get some amazing photos. It doesn't matter what age you are, you will enjoy this experience.

We are an English visiting a family with two 10-year-old twins from the UK and did not really know what to expect when we visited this amazing place. We were all totally engaged in pretty much every aspect of what this experience has to offer and I would recommend it to anybody who is in the area (which in itself is the most beautiful part of Holland that I have ever visited). The staff were full of enthusiasm, most of them English-speaking and explained all the exhibits and experiences very thoroughly indeed. This is a very different experience and I would recommend it to anybody between the age of 10 and 100! Enjoy!

We had a great afternoon at Mind Mystery which features a range of objects, experiences and visual illusions which play with the way your brain perceives audiovisual input ranging. The small entrance fee was more then worth it, especially since the personal was very interactive and informative!

It's also a great place to take fun photos! I would post some but that might spoil the fun if you're going there :p

We had so much fun here! There really is nothing like it elsewhere. The puzzles and illusions are thought provoking and very well done.

The star of the show was, of course, the 'upside down house''. The vintage themed music in the house was a lovely surprise. How they attached the furniture safely to the ceilings is anyone's guess!

The food and drink in the café were very reasonably priced. There is a pretty lake next to the car park which is a good spot to have a picnic when you are finished.

The only thing we would have liked were more descriptions in English. It was a bit hit and miss and I had to keep using Google Translate on a lot of items to work out what they were.

This is a fantastic attraction and well worth a visit if you are in the area.
