Many of the stores in Durango have a lot of the same stuff-not this store! I got a beautiful ring for a great price and the customer service is great!

Not just a store but an experience. Fun gifts, fantastic jewelry...great people. I'm not a craftsperson, beader or jeweler...but the store almost makes me want to be! A must do while in Durango.

We visited a friend who lives in Durango. She heard I bought jewelry from the merchants at The Rio Grando Bridge at Taos. She said you ought to go to Beads & Beyond. I was so happy I did. I have been to many Michaels & honestly I do not care to put stuff together myself. At Beads, I had a copper necklace and a leather necklace made with my choice of claps. It was made in no time and at a really minor charge. They were great to wear with the pendants I bought earlier. The store has lot of pretty, crafty items. This is one of the most different (not clothes, hat, post card etc.) & impressive store at Durango.

I found this store wandering around downtown Durango, and if you're looking for something local to take home as a souvenir, this is a great spot. Big display wall w lots of local artists including the store owner and very attentive staff. Not super inexpensive but IMO affordable for wearable art.
