The Tree Top Soaring Zip Lining Adventure was a topnotch activity. I was concerned for it's safety and couldn't have been more confident in the experience, once I met the crew and saw the equipment. The entire staff was professional and fun. The full experience included an environmentalist on staff, whom just added so much to the day. It was... More

Soaring Tree Adventures is not your typical " Zip Line" excursion. The staff is well trained and informative on not only the equipment but the on the history of the beautiful scenery that you soar thru. We went on one of the most rainy cold days the staff there had ever experienced. But yet, they still were able to provide... More

My husband and I agreed this was an over-the-top fun day in so many ways. Took the charming steam-powered train from Rockwood to Tall Timber, a lovely private resort and base for the zip-line adventure. We were impressed by every single staff member, their grace, attention to detail, commitment to safety and their clear priority to make your experience perfect.... More

This 27-line zip line facility is in an old-growth forest accessible only by the Durango-Silverton steam railway. Besides the excitement of so many zip lines, many of which run over the Animas River, a charming botanist/environmental historian accompanies the group to share her vast knowledge of the surroundings. And lunch was yummy. This was an amazing experience, and we were... More

We recently visited Soaring Tree Top Adventures outside of Durango, Co. My words are insufficient to describe what a fantastic experience my family and I had. All of the staff members and 'sky rangers' treated us royally. The care and amazing attention they gave us allowed us all to have a safe and exhilarating experience of a life time. The... More

The first question most people have is, what is Soaring? The next is, how is it different from zip lining? Soaring at Tall Timber delivers on its promise to provide an extraordinary experience in a spectacular setting. Soaring is much more than zip lining – you go faster (up to 40 miles per hour) and farther (longest run is over... More

What a FUN day!!!! Very long zip lines, extremely high quality equipment and a very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, patient, and helpful staff. The lunch was amazing, but the views are indescribable. I can't wait to do this again!

2nd time we've done this and every time get's better. Not only a great zip line course with 27 zips, lunch was fabulous, the train ride up in the Tall Timbers rail car was beautiful and comfortable. The staff are 1st class, friendly and probably asked us 10 times if we were enjoying our day. What a great adventure!!!!!!

My husband and I live in Durango and wanted to do an adventure to celebrate our wedding anniversary. After reading about Soaring Treetop Adventures online and noticing it was a local destination, we decided to make reservations. The reason why it is consistently reviewed as EXCELLENT is because it has earned it. The guides highly value their guests having a... More

A great experience, even for the over 60 crowd! Wonderful, friendly and extremely knowledgable staff make you relax and enjoy the experience. Eco rangers soaring with you are constantly sharing facts about the trees, animals and history that surround you. Lots of laughs and gentle kidding keep the mood buoyant. Planning to go again with the grandkids when they get... More
