Very nice gallery and staff. We stopped in 3 times while in Durango for the week. We enjoyed our visit with Jackson the last day we were in the gallery. We will definitely be back the next time we come to Durango and will recommend to our friends.

We loved visiting this amazing gallery. There's such a great variety of native treasures and you can buy with the reassurance that you are directly supporting local artists. There are many new and antique products available for all budgets. Make sure to give Jewels, the shop dog, extra pets for us!

Thank you so much! Our major reason for being here is to share the art and culture of the Southwest American Indian and we appreciate your compliments! We will give Jewels an extra hug today.

The finest Southwest Indian shop and gallery anywhere in the southwest. The specialize in older estate sale pieces and the staff could teach classes on rugs, jewelry, pottery, anything.

This beautiful store has authentic Native American rugs, jewelry, pottery, or weavings; you name it, they have it. Items will beautifully decorate your home or business. Owner and staff can answer your questions, which educates you if you aren't familiar with the talent of Native Americans.

My husband is part Native American and wanted to go into this store. It is like going back in time. They have the most beautiful Native American items dating backing many years. It was so much fun exploring their store. I brought a beautiful old turquoise watch and I have been looking for one for ten years. You don't want to miss this store in Durango.

This place has a lot of work by regional artists at reasonable prices. The gallery attendants were very helpful and not pushy at all. Interesting people to talk with, even if you're just browsing. Absolutely worth a stop.

My wife and I are avid collectors of native arts and this is one of our favorite stores. Pottery, rugs, kachinas, fetishes, sculptures, paintings and more. It’s not just the amount they have but the quality. Even when we are not in the market to buy anything we love to come into the store and just look.
Their prices are reasonable for a gallery of this quality in a resort town like Durango. While most of our purchases are not in retail stores we have bought a number of things here over the years and on this trip picked up a real treasure for our pottery collection. If you are a collector or just interested in native arts I highly recommend stopping here.

Be advised, there is a lot of fake, foreign-made "Indian" jewelry on the market. If you want to be sure that the jewelry you are buying is really Navajo-made, sterling silver with real stones and of high quality, this is the place. The same is true for rugs, pottery, baskets and other art and artifacts. Take it from a local who moved here from the Navajo Reservation decades ago and who stops in to visit this wonderful store, that is almost like a museum in terms of its variety of beautiful things. Recently I was thrilled to see the expansion of the baskets on display that includes the intricate and stunning ones from the Black family of Cedar Mesa, for example. And the Navajo rug collection is huge with rugs representing traditional regional designs to pictorial and modern and raised outlines.
The owners and all sales people are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. This is one of my favorite local stores to visit, which I do on a regular basis.

Here you will find a huge spectrum of local/native art. Silver, pottery, baskets, etc. The staff is knowledgeable and can tell a story about almost every piece. The items are high-end, as are the prices.

This place is rather unusual since the present owner is the third generation to run this business (it has been in the family that long!!!) - As a result, there isn't anybody they don't know in the Art community in this region and it appears that this has paid off through the years. Only the best quality and indisputably authentic. No cheap oriental imitations here!
