This is a working ranch and farm. All organic grass beef, poultry and pork that they sell by the pound (expensive) as well as serve from a small trailer kitchen to enjoy eating in an outdoor grass area. Fun place to stop for a burger, food was average but enjoyable. They make cheese on the property as well sell fresh... More

I loved the hamburger and went every week last year, but they raised their prices. I only went once when they opened during the week and not just Saturdays.. Not worth $12.50 for a hamburger. I do love the property and I did take my small dog with me. It is a shame their prices are so high. They now... More

Love the fresh, homegrown organic food here. We had a great lunch, and ate it outside, in view of the mountains. The fare is great and staff is friendly.

This family ranch produces high-quality local food products including meats, cheeses, vegetables, eggs, fruits, etc. which are all marketed onsite. There is a small petting zoo of farm animals, and you can walk around to see part of the ranch. There is a food stand that sells sandwiches and burgers using their own products - see separate listing under "restaurants".... More

Signature burger is scrumptious! The band was great ... Thursday evening event for $20 not to be missed. Great scenery and family friendly... Kids dancing and petting the goats ... The red cliffs are stunning from their picnic table area in front of the stage. Also local ice cream available at their farm stand store with other goodies

Family owned and run, working ranch offers a unique experience. Outdoor cafe serves limited but perfect options for vegetarian or carnivore. Seating at picnic tables with a few polite chickens, and happy goats on tether. The owners helped us move to a covered area in a rain shower, wiping off the tables and seats. View of the expansive ranch from... More

One of those special places one finds while road tripping. The cheese is amazing and they are wonderful people. We went there to provision for dinner.

Ask the kids and they will say that James Ranch was the best place we ate at on our road trip from Boston to San Francisco. Yep, thats a lot of lunches. The location was instantly beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious (not just the burgers or cheese melt, but also the ice cream) and we all felt relaxed and... More

We had a late lunch at James Ranch. The burgers and salad were excellent. My family enjoyed our outside dining experience overlooking the Ranch and animals.

A great stop for lunch. Try the Signature burger, you cant go wrong. Make sure you walk around the property on a self guided tour.
