Great little restaurant named " Swing" located within a fantastic golf corse. We went with friends and ate there. The menu was varied and some great selections. A little pricey but well worth it for quality food. My wife and I both ate Ruby Red Trout. Large portions and delicious. Terrific ambiance within the restaurant. You can dine inside or... More

There were 7 golfers in our group of 10--they raved about the links, but we all experienced wonderful food at what has to be one of the nicest public facilities anywhere. You can dine in a lovely room or the bar or on a spacious patio that affords a panoramic view of a couple of the holes. My angel hair... More

This is a stunning course, both in terms of design and scenery. One of my all-time favorite golf courses. It's challenging and forces you to plan your shots, but not overly difficult for those that don't end up where you intended. There are times I just stopped and looked around me, because it is so beautiful. Highly recommended.

I'd recommend dining on the patio overlooking the grandeur of the mountain scape with ideal fairways, ponds and greens just before you. Excellent food, good breadth of choices for the epicure in each of us and a good complement of local beers.

We have a House by the college in Durango and we found out about Dalton Ranch. We got the salmon, trout, and steak tournedos. Also for dessert we had the sundae bar and it was Phenomenal! The views were just Incredible!!!!! We are thinking of getting a membership. It was honestly that GOOD!

This is one beautiful golf course. It was perfectly groomed, greens were perfect and putted true. Fairly tight off the tee and if you can play all 18 without putting at least one in the water you will have really accomplished something. I'm a 12 and I last 2 balls into the water so be careful. It takes a while... More

What a beautiful setting for lunch, was able to sit on the deck and enjoy the view of the golf course. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. I had the small Spinach Salad and it was more then enought and delicious! Didn't get a chance to golf but really looked like a nice course. The weather was perfect!

We were fortunate to be invited to play golf at the Dalton Ranch on the opening weekend of their new summer season. This course is on a private estate some miles out of Durango and has stunning views of the mountains of the San Juan National Park. It is a short but difficult 6400 yards par 72 course with loads... We are not golfers but our host at Country Inn Bed and Breakfast suggested we try the food. Good Choice! We had the prime rib which was cooked exceptionally well. The view from the outside patio over the golf course made this a wonderful evening.
