Everything was fantastic, Andrea was our sommelier, and she knew every answer to our questions. The vineyard seating area is perfectly shaded for a warm afternoon, and has a few very friendly puppies that ensure the wine is even more enjoyable. The wine itself is...More

We had a great time enjoying the views and the other people and the wine. When it came time to close up, we were told that the tasting fee would be waived if we purchased 6 bottles and get a 15% discount. My husband ordered...More

Google Maps indicated the Sutcliffe Vineyards Tasting room used to be below the Balcony Bar? We didn't have time to drive an hour west past Cortez and an hour back and were disappointed to find that "its not here anymore." I checked with 3-4 Wine...More

We visited Sutcliffe Vineyards and met John Sutcliffe. He was very friendly and made us feel at home. Very nice staff and the Chardonnay and Reiling was awesome. If you are around, stop by and do some wine tasting.

We sampled the wine and were very disappointed when we were served warm Chardoney, really warm. The bottle was sitting in the sun and when I suggested that they serve colder wine, I was told that he was busy and didn't have a chance to...More

Excellent wine and a very friendly host (Don). We are going to Mesa Verde this fall and plan to visit the vinyard north of Cortez. It is unusual to find such exceptional wine from such a small vinyard.More
