I wish I had known about this place when my kids were young, as there is so much for them to do. If you enjoy mountain biking, this mountain may have the best trails in CO. If you want to try that for the first time, they'll rent you a bike and give you lessons.

The resort is very nice, has great skiing and we had a great time. We stayed in a ski in ski out room which made it an excellent vacation. The snow was outstanding and you can go all over the mountain and find all levels of terrain. The resort restaurants are pretty good and reasonable priced for being at a... More

We were there with three other senior couples and several of our group rode the alpine slide and also did the zip line ride! The ride up the chair lift gave us a chance to enjoy the beauty of mountains. You can even drive up the road to the top and on further to enjoy a picnic in the mountains.

We stayed 3 nights at the resort in August. We made reservation for a studio with a view of the mountains. We arrived early evening, and were given instructions to go to a different building under the rain. When we got to our room, it was hot, stuffy and smelly, and the room didn't have AC. When I called the... More

Thank you for staying with us. As is similar with many mountain town resorts, we do not have air conditioning in our units as our days and nights tend to be cooler, plus we have fresh mountain air. We apologize for the issues you encountered during your recent stay at Purgatory Village. Our team works very hard to provide a... More

Yes, it's a bit pricey but what isn't in this area? Tried several times to do the Alpine slide but weather (rain on top) kept delaying us. Finally made it with two young kids age 6 and 8. Each adult took one kid and was it fun. Fast but fun and worth the trip. Buying enough tickets is key. Once... More

We took our kids there to the alpine slide. It was pretty crowded and a lot of different things going on. We waited in line for over 30 minutes, but it was worth it. Our boys loved the slide. They even saw a marmot on the way down. It's a pretty location and things seem to be organized pretty well.

I would never recommend this place. It's dirty, the staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful, the rides are way to expensive for what they are.

Gorgeous mountains, I snowboard all winter season. New owner is doing a great job, using the full potential of this mountain. Overnight stays are pricey for my liking and rooms are not all that great for the $$. Food during winter season is ok. I like to eat at the pizzeria in the shopping center, its decent priced and good... More

Fun activities for families and downhill mountain bikers. Alpine slides, ziplines, rock climbing, trampolines, and more activities to choose from. A fun way to send a summer day.
