My family and I had a great time with Outlaw on the river! Perry was our expert guide and was very knowledgeable about the geology and history of the area. It was a beautiful day and even though the river was low we all got wet and had fun! My sister's kids loved sitting in the front as we went... More

We were excited for this rafting experience but it was a major disappointment-- it really was nothing more than floating down and dodging rocks and helping the guide get unstuck from all the rocks -- not enough water to enjoy this trip. I think they really shouldn't of even allowed us to go.

It was a great adventure, we had fun. But be aware a month after my credit card has been charged twice from them. Already working with my bank and the fraud department. But still it's not safe that they kept making those charges. Be aware!!! Keep track of your bank records.

Please know that we have not charged your credit card twice. During June, our credit card processing company was not processing cards correctly. This error was fixed last week. The correction included refunding your credit card and re-charging it for the same amount. This was done by our credit card processing company and not by us. We apologize for any... More

GREAT trip down the Animas. We booked a two-hour trip with family from out of town. Payden was our guide and he was fun, professional, interesting -all around wonderful! He made time for us to play in the calm water and told us interesting bits of history, facts about the river, and was a wealth of information. He made the... More

It was the Sunday before 4th of July, my family and I were just sitting around, then someone had an idea to go rafting. The idea came up in the morning, we called around to a couple places to see what times were available and open for our group. We were looking for something around 1:00 and thankfully these guys... We did the two hour kayak trip on the animas river, cost $90. We were picked up by bus in the main street, then a short drive to the launch point just north of town. Guides were really friendly and helpful, gave good safety advice without being too motherly. Boats and rafts were nearly new, helmets and life vests were... More

I was very apprehensive about doing this White water rafting trip but it turned out to be a Amazing. Perry was our guide and we were the only ones on the boat. Awesome tour. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The kids were totally safe and we had a blast. Class 2-3 waves. Thanks for a great experience!

We took our three children (ages 14, 12, and 8) river rafting with Outlaw. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. We were picked up downtown by the train station and transported to the launch area. They provided water booties ($3/pair) so that our children didn't get soaked shoes. Our guide, Charlie, was personable, experienced, and great at... More

We took a 4 hour trip from 1pm to 5pm. When we left it was about 96 degrees and once we reached the summit of 12,000 feet is was about 35 degrees with some snow on the ground. They provide water and some fruit for a snack. But you can bring your own munchies. I highly recommend a sweatshirt/jacket -... More
