We did a half-day trip down the Animas; our guide, Jake, was the best! He was very skilled and put the raft right where it needed to go. We never worried about flipping, even through Smelter! It was fun hearing Jake's stories about the river and the history of the area. We have not had that much fun in a... More

Our family rented tubes to go float down the river. The nice girls shared the rehearsed speech about not providing any transportation to the river or once we got out of the river down stream. Although they have buses running continually from multiple points on the river for the river rafters. So how do you get 5 inflated tubes into... More

Me and my family came here for a 3 hour trip of rafting. I'm so glad we did. When we went into the office, we got checked in quickly and we were able to get lifejackets fast too. It took a bit for the bus to pick us up but the ride was short. Our guide was Hunter and he... More

Perfect first rafting trip for kids under 12 (and adults who don't want to work too hard). Nice and easy with an exciting finish. All of the guides, with Max's encouragement, made it a very special day for our 7-year-old birthday girl.

Our family recently vacationed in Durango. You can say that we 'tripled down' on Mild to Wild Tours. For our short time in Durango, we went with Mild to Wild for 3 different tours. We had truly memorable experiences on each of them, I highly recommend this company. They have a great attention to detail & really do cater to... More

It was a hot summer Saturday and the Animas River was full of rafters, kayakers and tubers. It was a great experience to go river rafting with the expert guide from Mild & Wild. The staff couldn't be more helpful & fun. If you're visiting Durango, CO. be sure to make time for a float on the river. We are... More

We booked a package to ride the train from Durango to Silverton then take a bus back to raft down the river. The train broke down on our way up so we did not get to see Silverton, but the rafting was enough fun for my family to make us forget about that :) Jesse and Kaleb were our guides... More

We went on the three hour rafting trip and it was awesome! All the guides are super cool and very experienced, our guide Hunter was fantastic. There's no need to be worried about safety especially during this time of the month when the water wasn't as high and there weren't as many rapids. Before you get on the raft, a... More
