My wife and I booked a ride when my parents came into town and had such a great experience that we booked another ride a few months later when her parents came! We had two different drivers and both were fantastic! We rode the Shuttle in June and again in September and both times got on in Dillon and rode to Frisco and then back to Dillon. I would highly recommend this route as there are a ton of shops, restaurants and things to do on the Frisco side. You will want to spend the majority of your time there. We also were unsure at first how long to stay on the Frisco side, but ended up spending hours over there soaking in the views, exploring the beach and the city. If you want to leave to go back earlier it's as easy as a text to the captain. They are extremely communicative. The views are incredible and the prices are extremely reasonable. Great for all ages! We will absolutely be back in the future!

My now fiancé and I really enjoyed the shuttle. It was the last day they were having services for the shuttle of the season, and we could not have asked for a perfect time taking the shuttle. The breeze was nice and cool, but it was still very sunny. Frank was an awesome and knowledgeable captain. Overall I would recommend this shuttle to anyone wanting to take a boat on the Dillon Reservoir. Beautiful views!

This was our kids’ first boat ride (ages 6 and 8) and they loved it. The oldest had so much fun taking pictures and videos of the beautiful scenery, and we learned a little about the history of the area and the Dillon Reservoir. The next day we stopped by Sapphire Point overlooking the reservoir and the kids loved the two perspectives. It was a pleasant and relaxing ride across, even with it being super windy. We definitely needed our jackets out on the water, but it was still nice. Definitely wear sunscreen and bring sunscreen to reapply!

Such a peaceful boat ride across the lake. We also made a stop in the middle of the lake to talk about the history of Lake Dillon and the significance of it. The captain was very knowledgeable and I'd definitly take this trip again!

This is the perfect way to see Lake Dillon and enjoy the mountains from the water. Not only are there amazing views and scenery, there is also an opportunity to learn about the lake, surrounding cities and how the Dam contributes to the area and beyond. I recommend taking the Shuttle from the Dillon Marina to the Frisco Marina and walk into Frisco for lunch. Then, take the shuttle back again. The perfect day!

Our family bike ride around the lake took longer than expected. Frank was super kind to wait a few minutes for us to arrive and load our bikes onto the shuttle. The trip across the lake from Frisco to Dillon was beautifully scenic. Highly recommended!

I'm glad you had a nice bike ride and understand there might be a delay due to that lack of oxygen. It happens and we will wait:)

Every summer we come to Summit County, we look (usually in vain) for boat rides for us & our dog. Summit Shuttle always ends up being the easiest option, and we never regret it. Today's ride was so relaxing that ot felt like a nap: Thanks!

You must have been on the 3pm napper from Frisco to Dillon. It's the best to watch heads bobbing as we cruise across the lake at this time;)

Captain Frank is full of trivia and history of the reservoir, great guy who loves his work… who wouldn’t. Seeing the area from the water is a most do, much different from the bike paths and roads. We will be back for sure, a great outing for guests that are visiting or locals who have never been on the water. The scenery is breathtaking. We traveled from Dillon to Frisco, spent a few hours supporting the local economy and headed back. Frisco is a nice little walkable town, shops and restaurants are plentiful, recommend visiting. I think the season ended today so put this on your list for next year.

It was stranded in the rain in Frisco because of no contingency plan do to weather. Between a dead cell phone and closed bus shuttle stops and failed uber attempts I had to walk in the rain for 1 hour in order to find the open Frisco bus shuttle to return to Dillon. The cruise from Dillon to Frisco was lovely. After that I really wished I had driven and look forward to the refund of the trip that I did not get to take.

The weather can change at a moment's notice but having to deal with COVID-19 restrictions, it makes planning very difficult as many services were not available.

What a great cruise with Roger! He got our bikes safely on board and made us comfortable for the 30 minute cruise. He gave us a wonderful history of the reservoir as well as all the mountain peaks and rivers that flow into the reservoir. Really enjoyed the cruise, and highly recommend!!

hi, how long does it take to travel from one marina to the other?

About 35-40 minutes, as I recall. There was also a short break while the guide gave a short history of the reservoir.
Is this handicap accessible?

The best place to board the shuttle is on the Dillon side. We have had wheelchairs on the boat but we picked it up to get over the gap between the dock and the boat. The Dillon Marina also has a swing chair if needed. This is a hoist that attaches to the dock and can lift a person up in a seat and over into the boat.
