We rented kayaks for the morning and it was great! The water as like glass and the mountains were beautiful. Although we were a little early, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We will use them again and again.

We had a great time paddling kayaks. We went early for the calm water and had a great time. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The location is protected from traffic and waves making it great for beginners. We saw a few folks paddling further out as well. I like renting as it spares me the hassle of storing and hauling a boat that I may only use a few times a year.

We had a great experience! Dan was so laid back and did a great job teaching us newbies how to stand up paddle board. It was nice not feeling rushed and just being able to enjoy the time with friends!

A group of 9 ladies planned a weekend in Frisco for the Frisco tri. The event starts off with stand up paddle boarding across a section of Lake Dillon. We showed up just before 8:30 to the marina where we were told to meet Dan to collect our paddle boards. When we arrived Dan only had 2 of the 9 paddle boards for our event. Dan and his staff seemed very surprised to see us and questioned when we made our reservation. Our confirmation email came with the reservation a month in advance. We then found out that two additional groups renting through Stand Up Paddle Colorado did not have them for the start either. Dan's staff left the dock by 8:45 saying they will be back with paddle boards and in time for the start of the race. THEY SHOWED UP 26 MINS AFTER THE RACE STARTED! 14 individuals missed the start of the race! Not once did Dan apologize. He and his staff said, "it's not our fault, it's the call centers fault". They didn't own the situation that they had messed up. We later found out after calling Don on the phone and emailing the owner of SUP Colorado that each individual were charged completely different totals. Some were charged $35, others charged $65. The disorganization of this company makes it very hard to recommend them. Along with the terrible customer service. We are still waiting to hear back from the company about refunding our money.
