What a fun adventure. I climbed the Flatirons with my awesome guide Hans and it was exactly what I was hoping for while I was in Colorado.
He called me a week beforehand and asked my about my skill level so we could do a route that would be challenging, but not too difficult. Overall, we landed on the third flatiron and it was such an amazing experience.
The climb took a few hours and we had a short hike before and after. I HIGHLY recommend you bring a backpack with a water bladder (which Hans recommended) as water bottles are pretty tricky to use while on the climb. I felt safe the whole time and would encourage anyone who is thinking about climbing the flatirons to do it with these folks. They are great!

The Denver Climbing Company thought of everything from selecting the right climbing course for your level, detailed instructions/what to bring for your course, directions to the location, and a super efficient process to get set-up and climb. Dan was prepared with all our gear, routes were set before we arrived, and he gave seamless instructions to get us climbing safely. We had a few different climbs that catered to different levels which was great. I would highly recommend climbing with Dan and team for all levels if you want a fun day just a 30 minute drive outside of Denver! Climb on!

The overall experience was exhilarating considering I come from much smaller mountains. Dan being an Appalachian transplant as well made this trip 100 percent more insightful. He was the best guide I dude like myself could have asked for. Thanks again for the good time everyone.

My husband and I and our 14 year old son highly recommend Rapelling with Denver Climbing Company. The owner, Dan, was knowledgeable and thorough and also patient and kind. We have already recommended Dan to our local Colorado friends. The experience was exhilarating!

Had a great time on Intro to Climbing with Dan and Brett. They showed us the ropes (pun intended) and gave great encouragement. Beautiful location and would definitely recommend the experience. We’re in our 50’s and had solid climbs but there were younger people there too … that kept up with us :-)

My girlfriend and I took the anchor building class. Dan was a great instructor, he was knowledgable and gave us simple tools to use that were very powerful. He also has a great ability of suggesting alternative thoughts to what you’re doing in a way that is both constructive and open minded.
I would recommend this course for anyone beginner to expert, Dan was able to work with what skills we had and tailored the course to us. We even had the chance to climb on our very own anchor.

Dan was an amazing instructor and guide! He was incredibly safe and very conscious of adapting the climbs to skill and comfort level for each participant. Extremely knowledgeable and great at coaching folks up the climbs. Absolutely the safest and most stress free way to advance climbing skills - and all with the thrill of being outside on actual rock walls. Could not recommend this company more strongly :)

High recommend Denver Climbing Co! My boyfriend and I are new to the area and took the Intro to Outdoor Rock Climbing class. We were super satisfied and impressed with our experience. Our guides, Dan & Justin were welcoming and brought amazing energy making it feel like we were learning to climb with friends. They were knowledgeable about explaining how the equipment worked covering safety measures and techniques on climbing. I had previously only climbed indoors and they gave me tips on the differences in order to have a more successful day outdoors.
Equipment was clean and new and they were Covid safe (e.g. mask wearing if not maintaining distance, tons of hand sanitizer, etc). Very efficient process meant we could spend the majority of our time climbing. Answered all of our questions. We left feeling accomplished and excited to do it again. We are planning on going back to take a lead class.

We came to Denver for our honeymoon so that we could experience both the city and nature. This excursion was well led, and the guide was great at teaching us the ways to do things. He was patient, and even took some photos for us. I loved the experience overall, and it was MUCH better than indoor climbing.

My kids (20, 20, and 18) and I did 2 days of rock climbing, Intro to Outdoor Climbing and Climb the Flatirons. Both days were PHENOMENAL! In the half-day intro class, Dan and Justin covered all the basics to people with a wide range of skill sets and had everyone, even some young children, climbing. The Flatirons were tough! And with Dan and Justin's expertise and amazing teaching/coaching all four of us made it to the top and repelled off the back! They carefully explain, demonstrate, repeat instructions. An experience we'll never forget! I HIGHLY recommend Denver Climbing Company - worth every penny!

There is no minimum weight. As long as we can fit them in our safety equipment, which is highly adjustable, this will be no problem!

We climb all year! In Colorado, we have many sunny days with warmer temperatures during winter. Upon poor weather conditions, you would be able to reschedule or receive a full refund.
