I snagged a weekday special that was worth every penny!
The facilities are clean, inviting and so relaxing.
My massage was THE BEST I ever had! My masseuse Lily was awesome, she addressed all my problem areas and I was so relaxed. I will definitely come back!
And I’m recommending the spa to my best friend!

Me and my mother decided to do a spa day at the Oxford spa. We booked massages, facials, lunch and mani/pedi. To start the new robes are amazingly soft I wanted to take one home with me! We got to steam and that was nice but we wished there was some aromatherapy in there like lavender or eucalyptus. After we steamed we were taken to the waiting room. This area was just a closed hall with chairs... The service providers walk back and forth threw the doors to get to their rooms or to a storage closet. We were trying to relax and couldn't he whole day because of the foot traffic. Most people walking threw were rushing and loud. Not peaceful at all. the massages were wonderful both really talented therapist. Next we had our facials. Both estis were great at there career. The only issues my mom has was in her facial she could here EVERYTHING that was going on out side the treatment door. She could hear the salon blow dryers, laughing, groups talking, it was so unrelaxing :(
After our facials we had lunch we were told to wait in the waiting room and someone would get us for lunch. We waited and waited finally someone came after realizing we were waiting. Lunch was served in a loud hall way next to the salon... (Really?!?! Is there no other place in this huge building to serve lunch!?) We were served on a upgraded dinner tray end table thing, Everyone was watching us eat (Very Uncomforting) There has to be a better place to have a meal. And because no one got us after our facials, We had to rush lunch for our mani/pedis.
The the woman who did my mani was a delight I truly enjoyed her company. However my manicure looked horrible and chiped that day, I ended up just taking it off later. I had a different woman for my toes and she also was great company and did a good job on my toes. My moms mani and pedi both were enjoyable and nicely done. Once our toes were dry we went to change and go home. We paid for our services and the front desk asked if they could call up our valet. We appreciated the gesture. However after waited 10 min for the valet we finally asked the valet of our car was on the way... Apparently no one had called. The valet was so nice he was so apologetic and rushed to bring us our car.
Over all the massages and facials were above average and mani/pedis about average, but we will not be coming back to the Oxford spa :(

I think the Spa was beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. I’m sure this thing happens once in a blue moon but our experience wasn’t quite as we thought it would be. Especially for a nice place like this.
Booked a couples massage in the morning. Must have been the first appointment of the day because one of our massage therapists was late getting there. Was told it was because of the weather (it was raining and cold that day). Slightly off putting to see your therapist rush in with Starbucks coffee in hand. I jokingly mentioned to my husband that I’d hope she would take her time getting ready because I didn’t want her to feel rushed or have freezing cold hands. Unfortunately she was my husbands therapist and he said she did have cold hands. She also had the sniffles throughout the appointment.
I’ve been there. Your running late, it’s cold and raining, but we’re paying a lot for this relaxing experience. Please think about that and either take your time and get focused before you start or get someone else to take over.
As for my therapist, he was great, up until the last 5 minutes (this was an 80 minute massage). It was like he became rushed or he forgot the time because he completely forgot my right arm! I’ve had plenty of massage and I know sometimes a therapist can work on one area for awhile and have to shorten the time they spend on other areas. And I may not get the same massage on my left side as I do on my right, but to totally forget an arm almost ruins the whole experience.
While we were sitting in the waiting room relaxing, what looked like the manager and possibly contractors walked in and proceeded to have a meeting and look around the rooms. Then 10 minutes into our massage it seemed they had come back and again proceeded to have another meeting right outside our door! You would think the manager would A) check/know the schedule for the day or B) look in the waiting area before having a meeting there.
I wouldn’t say it was bad, just a little disappointed. Both my husband and I agree that the massage was really great and was exactly what we needed, but had expected a little better.
To be far we did get a discount on my husbands massage because the therapist was late, so we do appreciate the recognized that.
We would definitely go back. Like I said this was probably a once in a blue moon thing.

We had been looking forward to a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience at this acclaimed hotel. We arrived early to our appointment as we were instructed to do. The front desk was not busy, but the lady at the counter was busy on the phone talking with another guest. As she got off the phone, she explained to us that we were now late for our appointment and would have to hurry and disrobe to get our treatment going. There was no place to put our belongings and she was very rude about everything she was explaining to us. We felt rushed and neglected as we waited for a manger to get involved. The manager explained that we were late and must expedite the process by skipping the relaxing portion of the treatment and come back to it later. We were then advised to reschedule even though we had booked this weeks ago for my birthday celebration. We have been staying at the Oxford Hotel and so far had a wonderful and very complimentary experience. We had been looking forward to this spa treatment for weeks along with my very distraught and fragile mother and daughter. It is very disconcerting that we were not properly taken care of on a Monday, non-holiday, and no other discourse or reason was given for the unsatisfactory way we were treated. If it had been busy or a holiday maybe it would have been better understood but it wasn’t and our birthday celebration that was centered around the spa treatment on this day has now been unfortunately ruined. I am only concerned with how others may also experience this tragedy in the future as my vacation has now been ruined and I would hope that nobody else would have to go through this travesty. Spa treatments are supposed to be relaxing and refreshing and now we’re anxious and excited to leave this wonderful part of town with no consideration of ever coming back to the spa.

I treated my daughters to a Holiday spa day at the Oxford. Facials, massages, mani/pedis and lunch. Although the treatments themselves were fine, the experience was not. You change in an upscale locker room also used by the private fitness club. You then must walk through the retail store and up a staircase in your robe and slippers. The waiting area was cold and not spa-like at all-- a bit dim and narrow. The bathroom is up a flight of stairs on a floor of offices, also quite uncomfortable when you are in a robe and slippers. We waited quite a long time for lunch and when we inquired the attendant realized she had forgotten about us. Lunch had been waiting in upstairs in a derelict conference room with ladders and discarded furniture. No drinks were served and we had no access to salt, pepper or much needed condiments. The meal was cold, bland and tasteless. I would recommend the massages, but would caution anyone considering this spot for a spa getaway.

The locker room had hair all over the floor. Looked as if the locker room had not been cleaned all day. There was cleaning and construction equipment sitting in showers and on the floor. The actual services were ok with the exception of the masseuse had all kinds of advice post breast cancer treatment which I really didn't want hear about while trying to relax.
I followed up with an e-mail to their Operations Manager and received no response.

The Oxford Club has an extensive range of equipment at their gym, but that's about it. This place could sure do with a pool, sauna and steamroom.
The shower and changing facilities are very generic and tired looking...

Excellent service. A phenomenal massage and Reflexology by Lori. She was able to fine my pressure points and work on them with great success. The surroundings certainly had a calming ambiance. Very effective steam room. And a spacious massage room.

Gym locker room is always out of something, towels, soap, etc. Slobs leave their underwear on the counter and management does nothing about sexual harassment.

Good Afternoon,
We apologize for the lack of shower amenities and the poor housekeeping in the locker rooms. We were unaware of the sexual harassment. If you would please reach out to us so we can escalate the issue to upper management.
Thank you,
Lanez Perry

This hotel is simply amazing. Staying at the Oxford is like walking back in time, but with modern conveniences, cleanliness, and style. From first entrance into the lobby, it is evident that there is more to see and enjoy than meets the eye. I found myself immediately looking around to find details I might miss.
The structure of this hotel is so removed from what most people experience on a daily basis that it would be hard to not leave refreshed in some capacity - from simply "getting away".
This is by far the most "romantic" hotel I've seen. While all inclusive, tropical resorts boast their own kind of romantic, get-away charm. . the Oxford boasts it's own flavor of get-away.
Unlike a bed and breakfast that feels somewhat invasive of privacy, or leaves you wanting to be pampered more, the Oxford covers all details exquisitely. . making any visitor feel like they are the most important guest in the hotel.
The charm of the architecture is amazing. . from the marble accents, the huge fireplace, or simply the old school check in counter with separate key holders for each guest.
The staff was also incredibly attentive and helpful.
One of my favorite offerings of the hotel was the bourbon tasting every evening, as well as the Sherry night cap. Even if you don't like these drinks. . the Oxford does this with class and style.
The hotel is also home to one of (if not the first) bar in Denver.
The hotel boasts of a complete spa, ball room and theater. I did not use these amenities due to time restraint, but. . I will come back!
I think it would be wonderful if to attend a theater or musical production in the hotel in which I am staying! I hope that the Oxford holds events in the theater. .. I would love to experience that someday.
All -in - all. . . Amazing. The Oxford is definitely worth trying.
