This is beautifully restored old theater in the Art Deco fashion. The Mayan artwork gives it a unique style. If you love old theaters looking around this place is almost as much fun as watching the movie. Clean and well maintained. Bonus: there is a...More

Great venue for movie watching! This is a vintage theatre that is carefully restored. You can get an actual drink and food on the upstairs mezzanine, as well as popcorn, etc. Love coming to this theatre.

Beautiful old movie theatre near downtown Denver. It is built in the Art Deco style with 3 screens. There is a bar and cafe available. The theatre often shows films, including foreign films, not shown anywhere else.

This is a historic building and has a very range of art and cultural film - this is my favorite theater. Not to be missed.

A beautifully-restored old theater with incredible murals on the wall and chandeliers. It frequently has different shows there that are fun to see. However, it does not have the more contemporary or the more famous bands. It features mostly local music from unknown bands.

Great place to see an independent film. There is good food and even alcohol. The staff is pleasant. Lines for restrooms can get long, though.

This historic theater opened in 1930, but by the mid 1980's it was very rundown and scheduled for demolition despite being declared an historic landmark. It was saved by a concerted effort of Denver residents, The Friends of the Mayan. It's not your modern multiplex...More
