We went here for a Nuggets game on 1/15/19. The facility was very nice, well maintained, easy to get through, and a lot of food options. The music really stunk and they had technical difficulties all evening. I'm not sure if that was the facility...More

Worst club level experience in professional sports! Food options are sparse and gross. You have to go to the main level (leave club level) to find any decent food. Ridiculous.

This year was our fifth New Year's Eve outing with our kids to see an Avalanche hockey game... and now they do a fireworks show at the end! We love this venue, and the hockey games, for their family entertainment: the concourse and the intermission...More

Bronco Tailgating at the Pepsi Center ??? (1 Replies)
We are joining some friends for a tailgate before the Broncos v. Chiefs game and have been told its at the Pepsi Center?? I assume they just mean the parking lots at the Pepsi Center?? I just took a look at a map and see that its close ..... but not super close to the football stadium. How do folks get to the game? Walk? Shuttle? Also, we have a car taking us to the game and have a Lot B (Valet) parking pass. Would be awesome if our car could somehow drop us, then pick us up and head to...More

Frozen Four Hockey Tournament (2 Replies)
My friends and I have an annual rite of spring: we travel to the NCAA Frozen Four tournament (April 10-12 this year) from our various homes around the country, watch some hockey, drink some beer, catch some live music, drink some more beer. It's been fun as we visit places we've never been, catch up on old times, and cut loose a little. None of us has ever been to Denver. We're looking for a hotel with easy access to the Pepsi Center. We don't want to spend too much money on the rooms,...More

The Pepsi Center is pretty much walking distance from any downtown hotel, but good luck finding a cheap one. Do you like jazz? El Chepultepec is the place to go, but the booths seat only 4 persons, it is standing room only if you don't come early, and the bathrooms are disgusting.

How safe is downtown Denver now? (5 Replies)
I will be in Denver for a conference in October, and I will be walking on Welton Street between my hotel and the Colorado Convention Center. Some of this will be at night. I also plan to walk to down 14th Street to the Pepsi Center, and I will be walking back around 9pm. How safe is that area at night?

I've never felt the least bit uncomfortable walking around this part of Denver at any time of day or night. As always, use normal cautions, but it should be comfortable for you. Have fun.
