I was here with my son in July, and I was SICK. like SICK with some kind of funky flu. I wish it had been the elevation thing, and maybe it was, but I was just fever and chills and UGH! But I sucked it up and headed out to do the touristy thing with him (he is 16 and... More

On a walk from the Sheraton, walked by the District Court - what a beautiful display - especially the Nativity Scene. They've done a great job of lighting this for the holidays - a great draw to downtown.

This is a beautiful building on the outside. We didn't go in. We visited it during the Denver free walking tour (which I also recommend doing). Lots of history and details went into the development of this building. Good to see. Good area as well. Food trucks for lunch park in front of the building.

The city building in Denver is where the mayor does business. It is located on one edge of Civic Center Park across from the Capitol Building.

Only time it is worth to come here is during Xmas to watch the elaborate lights shows they do at this site.

During our time visiting friends on the outskirts of Denver. We took a day out of the schedule to look around the City of Denver and some of the amazing sights and buildings there. We didn't get to go inside this building, but the area outside and around her is great to visit.

The only interesting thing for a tourist is sitting in on an interesting courtroom case. The place is full of lawyers.

This is the #1 Holiday lights display on a public building in the country. It's also the backdrop for the Holiday Parade of Lights. HINT, park somewhere down in LoDo and take the FREE 16th Street mall ride up and walk over to the parade and beat the crowds
